    I never watch the Summer Olympics anyways. Maybe it's the Canadian in me, but I only like the Winter games!
    Only summer event I like is the Cycling...But I can watch "the Tour" for that.

    It's very funny that this could be a reason for you to boycott the Olympics,it's just an individual case. I also heard that the movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is based on a true story, does it mean that American are more cruel£¿

    This is not an isolated case. The Chinese government last year rounded up and killed 55,000 dogs some of them beaten to death in front of their owners. Then you ship poisoned pet food to the states.

    And I fail to see a correlation to rabies with dog height. But then in your prosperous country you allow your government to tell you how many children you can have.

    You may enjoy living in a country that restricts your freedoms, but we don't have to spend our money supporting it.

    If you Chinese are so adamant about what is wrong with America (and many Americans are too), you should STOP buying American bonds and hording American currency.

    And thereby stop supporting the ILLEGAL, IMMORAL, DECADENT, CAPITALIST, ELITIST, MILITARISTIC, SELF-CENTERED policies of the USA. DO SOMETHING and quit whining. If that description of America is something Chinese loathe then you need to take action like we are advocating. It's about the PEOPLE not the Governments!

    We will boycott your Olympics, and your cheap products, while YOU boycott American Bonds and Currency.

    Then maybe BOTH our countries will change for the better.

    Very good idea.

    Chinese people + American people VS Chinese government + American government.

    But I am sure we will lose because they are the people who control the world economy, they will find a way.

    mind you, those poinsoned pet food must get rigorous inspection by american inspectors before entering the US CUSTOM HOUSE. so evil those american, they dont care about their pets!

    bush and other politicians are the puppets..they are better ppl than those corporation ppl who care nth but money.

    politicians at least have moral standard, or they have to be --because ppl are watching.

    but those CEOs..pure evil. and no control from the public at all.

    You don't address the Chinese murdering 55,000 dogs the government took from homes in China and murdered, so that Beijing would be beautiful for the Olympics. As far as I know it would be hard to blame the Americans for that.

    Correction: China has recently surpassed the USA as the most polluting country in the world (guess your gov't won't tell you that!).

    China is shortly due to become the biggest oil consumer on the planet, exceeding the USA.

    Keep on buying those cars, polluting your cities, air, water and land.

    It's very good for population control. Nobody will live past 40 soon.

    Plagues will spread across your land.

    You are living in interesting times. Enjoy!

    Celebrate the Olympics. It may be the last thing you Chinese can celebrate.

    Repress Tibetans and other ethnic minorities that really shows the world how peaceful and democratic China really is...(here we will probably elect a minority as president).

    TIBET, TIBET, TIBET, what's the matter, can't you even Talk about LIBERATING TIBET?

    Or is that prohibited by your masters?

    Let's focus the rest of the conversation on Tibet. Let's see if these Chinese can talk openly about that right now.

    Why not give Tibet independence or at least autonomy?

    What is China afraid of? Please list the reasons.

    BTW, Tibet has NOT always been part of China despite what Chinese claim.

    Let's talk about Tibet. What exactly is it the Chinese want in Tibet?

    Tibet was a country free and rich in a unique ancient culture, until Chinese occupation in 1949. In 1959, China assumed full military and political control, forcing the Dalai Lama to flee to India. As of this moment, over 100,000 Tibetans are still in exile around the world, with approximately 4,000 new refuges escaping every year.

    Since occupation, human rights in Tibet have been ignored. Over 1.2 million Tibetans have died as a direct result of China's violent repression. Many of these were women, children, monks, and nuns. There is currently no freedom of speech or religion. Over 6,000 Buddhist monasteries were destroyed, along with precious artifacts and religious icons. The Tibetan population is controlled by the forced sterilization, making them a minority in their own country.

    Over the years, the situation has only worsened. Tibet's rivers and wilderness are used as dumping grounds for nuclear and industrial waste. Torture and abuse continue, and studies show they are steadily on the rise. In the name of politics, China has imprisoned thousands, without trial, including Fulbright Scholar, Ngawang Chopel. The 2nd most revered religious figure, the Panchen Lama, was kidnapped from Tibet at age seven and has been held in China for the last two years. The U.S. State Department has also reported that China is in direct violation of human rights laws.

    How about Tianamen Square Massacre of Students? That was ordered by your "fearless" leader. Attacking unarmed students with tanks. Yes, that is the IMMORAL power of politicians being expressed in violence.

    Dead Chinese student protesters lie in Tianamen Square. Some say hundreds were killed that night and in subsequent raids.

    China has a VERY VIOLENT government that thinks nothing of mass-executions. The individual is subservient to the state. The individual has NO VALUE to the state, esp. when there are like 1.4 Billion of them. You are no more than a grain of rice in a huge bowl to your gov't.

    You are just a commody like rice to be counted, traded, stored, moved around (ask all those Chinese who lost their homes to industrial growth), etc.

    How dare you presume that Politicans are any better than pond scum? Pond scum at least serves a useful purpose (and may one day feed the planet!)

    How do you think they rise in the political world? By being NICE? No by plotting schemes to take advantage of other people, to manipulate, to deceive, to lie, to screw anyone who gets in their way.

    The perfect example of this today in America is Hillary Clinton... oh, wait, I mean Dick Cheney. No better still G.W. Bushit. Or perhaps Cunti Lice. Damn there are too many examples!

    CHINESE PEOPLE - RISE UP DURING THE OLYMPICS!

    BRING TRUE DEMOCRACY TO CHINA!

    LIBERATE YOUR PEOPLE.

    FREE TIBET, FREE CHINA. SAME THING.

    Well I guess THAT shut them up! Guess they can't even access this site again due to Chinese censorship. Maybe that'll get thru to them. But then again they sound like they're working for the Chinese Gov't. That's why I posted what I did. :)

    It's important to distinguish between people and government. I'm not sure why folks take offense when you criticize their government, unless they're part of it, then maybe they should listen and think, and do what they can to change it. I don't take offense when you criticize ours, and I do what I can to change mine. Our government sucks, but at least I can say that openly without the fear of being shot.
