i have to say the root the amanita is the best tasting part... the tops are a little tangy radish like burny taste., the bottoms like sugar sweet..

Apparently we need a new couch. I don't know I leave the decorating to the girlfriend. Found a nice deal online and threw it in the back of the truck. I guess we made the right choice because the dogs have already claimed a spot.

I've got some big news...

I went to McDonald's today and GOT A JOB!

They wanted to cry a little because my social security card name doesn't match my driver's license...only because I lost the "new" social security card - that I got in 1983 - but I still have the original ss card that has my maiden name on it. So, I'm taking 2012 tax return/W2 forms and they'll see my name and ssn combined when I go get signed in officially at the headquarter office tomorrow. Anyway, I just had to throw in the one little bit of problem I had. YAY :hurray:

She is hiring me for the lobby, and I will fill in where ever I'm needed. She said it'll be at least 4 days/evenings a week, perhaps 5.

I start Thursday afternoon.

I know beyond the shadow of a doubt I'll like this significantly more than I would ever have liked being a convenience store clerk.

I can't believe it...I'm truly excited.

:sunny: Different things kept leading me to that particular McDs! Last Thursday I saw these little signs in front of the place, but could only read the one that said "HIRING NOW".

lol I drove home and it kept nagging me wth did that other little sign say...so I drove back up there, parked the car and walked to where I could read it. lol It was stabbed in the ground so that it was visible from the road; but no way could it actually be read if driving by. Anyway, the sign said "Interviews Tuesday - 3:00 - 4:30".

I'd applied for a McD's position online about 1 1/2 weeks ago...not that that eventually did anything. lol

haha, my sister gets dumber every day. she actually brought the guy over, noticed my dad was home and drove away. he just left so I suppose she'll be here soon...
