I found the BNW thread on the 8th page, Penny. The closer one is BNW Revisited, a collection of Huxley's essays. BNW thread http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3814
That's funny because the book was suggested to me in a conversation about 1984 BTW - what's the connection to the doors?
Huxley wrote the "Doors of Perception," an essay on mescaline effects. Morrison and Manzarek loved the name.
It's a bit dry. Sasha and Ann Shulgin's "PIHKAL" is MUCH better. But, I do own it, and I read it from time to time. Usually right after "Politics of Ecstacy."
BNW is a great book. Huxley is by far my fav author. If you liked this book After Many a Summer Dies the Swan is a wicked good book as well, my personal favorite by Huxley.
