Breaking Bad

i didn't watch the season premiere, was it any good?

 

It was a decent episode but it wasn't anything to write home about. It did have some interesting foreshadowing in it though.

Breaking Bad is the only series i actually watch. One of the best shows i've ever seen, i watched the entire first 3 seasons in like 2 weeks lol, i need to hurry up and finish the 4th now so i can start watching the new episodes...

 

hubby and I watched seasons 1-3 on netflix (we had mini-marathon sessions) and recently watched season 4 on demand. haven't watched the season 5 premiere yet - hopefully tonight! but i was so upset to learn that they're having such a long break between the first half of season 5 and the second half.

WHY DO THEY DO THOSE THINGS TO ME???

 

lol same here, watched the first 3 seasons on netflix and now watching the 4th online..

how longs the break between the first and second half of season 5? I've intentionally avoided reading anything about the new season because i want to avoid all spoilers.. since i haven't watched all of the 4th season yet

 

S5E8 airs on 9/02/12 (savor every show between now and then!!!)

S5E9 doesn't start until sometime in 2013 - so even if it's January (for some reason I can't find the exact date) that's a 4-month break after only 8 episodes!

And then it's over forever!

 

This is the last season? *sigh, maybe it's better that way though... we don't want it turning into one of those shows that goes on forever, doing the same things over and over again... but it's sad knowing it will be over soon when i've just recently gotten into it!

 

I feel your pain. It's bad enough that Weeds is also in it's final season.

Wonder if the subject matter has anything to do with the ending of these shows?

 

enough people have commented on this that I may actually try watching it.

hey guys the 4th season of breaking bad is on netflix now just a heads up

 

i thought most of the seasons kept draggin except for season 4.

 

Really? I thought it just got better with each season but that's just me.

 

We watched the season premiere last night. I really wasn't too thrilled with it. Something changed - there's a dynamic already missing - I'm wondering if they have new writers... Or maybe it just got off to a slow start. IDK

 

yep just isn,t as intense a show yet, compared to last season. idk either
and since dish net. dropped AMC i have to look through 10 links to find one that plays.

i would NEVER go back to dish. hubby has suggested trying direct tv but i'm one of those people who are happy with cable. our cable company is reliable and has everything we want (and more). i like dealing with LOCAL tech support. (and we have phone/tv/internet so that's 2 less bills to pay

walt looked so odd in the opening scene - i noticed his glasses and facial hair first - took me a while before i realized he also had hair on his head! he is SO different than when he was on malcolm.

i just love how jesse calls walt "mr. white" after everything they've been through. i realize he was his teacher, but that is just odd AND FUNNY!

 

does anyone know if i can do this for episode 2, etc?
