I am admittedly, OLD, and I was actually there for this live performance of Jethro Tull's Dharma for One. And yes, it was the first time I had ever smoked quality hashish (from Lebanon, the Red). I'll always remember this one.

At the time I lived less than 30 minutes away, in Northwestern Connecticut, attending junior year in High School. We also would visit the town of Stockbridge, to see Alice at the Restaurant. It was just a lunch-counter, and a dive, but you could get anything you wanted, as long as they had it. And I remember getting a tuna sandwich and glass of milk for under a buck. Those were the daze...

I'm a big fan of British Rock :) Carry on!

I also met the band Supertramp on Tortola in around 1981... the bass player Dougie Thompson was lying on the beach at Brewer's Bay guzzling champagne and had a stunning blonde at his side... they invited me up to the band's hangout at the top of the hill, after I shared some local ganja with them I had scored from a friendly rasta under the Mango Tree in Roadtown... so I walked up there at sunset and met the whole lot of them, and their assorted hangers on... 'twas quite the inebriated evening... I don't remember how I got back down the hill to the campground. But I did, none worse for the wear. I recall giving them a jar of honey I had stuffed some of the island's best mushrooms into, it was quite the psychedelic treat. I used to make tea with that honey...

Wish there were vids available of the whole old band... but I hear Roger was not the easiest sort to get along with. So this is a more recent recording.

FROM COVENTRY: 2-TONE SKA /REGGAE group that had serious and political messages sent out at a time when revolution was indeed in the air and public unrest seeing active response.
A combination of Dammers, Hall, Staples - and Rico Rodriguez .etc were able to update the old Mod sound back to commercialised favour
