Haid, my dh DID hurt people who bullied him. He "fought back" and even beatings didn't deter the little fuckers from continuing. He was never a push over, but even when people knew he could win a fight, he was still bullied. He had to learn NOT to hit people, or HE would have landed himself in Juvenile Detention. Now, how would that have served him in any way? No, hurting others doesn't stop bullying.
