i use the lip balm and the lip gloss. the one with the color is the closest i ever get to actual lipstick. I also love the smell of that almond hand creme but don't think it's the best at moisturizing my hands. but it smells divine!
they seem pretty commercial now. there is a burt's bees stand in the walden books here now. i'm pretty skeptical of where they source their bee products from...and it's probably not a really ethical and clean source. in fact i'm sure it's not because they would probably advertise that if it were... their product isn't certified organic, and it doesnt have anything thats organic...but whoever said it's probably superior to whatever is at wal-mart is probably right. RAR that is an awesome story...the ingredients in many personal care products are extremely toxic and you literally can't even pronounce them these days....and thats really funny he had to sign a contract to not tell whats actually in them. it would be really interesting to find out what actually goes into those things these days. i know used cooking oil from fast food restaurants is one ingredient...but i'm sure theres worse.. i don't even liek to walk down the personal care product isle in grocery stores anymore. the smell coming off those products is probably as toxic as the products themselves. actually i'm pretty sure it is, one study in CA found that the second biggest source of air pollution in their state after cars was household cleaners ;P nothin but seventh generation for me... dr. bronners hemp products are awesome. i love buying anything that has hemp in it, that supports more growing of hemp on the planet. his stuff is so affordable for being organic. plus you can dilute it and double the amount of use you get from it... i may be wrong but i'm pretty sure dr. bronner was one of the people responsible for keeping hemp products legal in the US when they were up against the supreme court some time ago...
Ahhhh yes, it's a good job that Almond odour makes me feel ill! Also, it reminds me of marzipan, which I hate.
