It is absolutely true that there are many who dissent and have NO RESPECT for the office of the President. I have been looking at people calling the President a chimp, a coke head, and generally a moron for too long to doubt this. Dont forget, there are some who "somewhat dissaprove" of his performance. Give it a few months and those people may just cross back over to "somewhat approve".
Some have respect for the office but not the person. http://www.pollkatz.homestead.com/files/pollkatzmainGRAPHICS_8911_image001.gif .
I seriously doubt it, the only time his poll numbers go up is the begining of a military engagement, and he doesn't have the resources/political capital for another one. Face it, the dude is a dud, everything he touches turns to shit and he is AT BEST incompetent, at worst he's a lying murdering tyrant. As for the respect for the office thingy. Respect has to be earned, and none of bush's past actions have earned anything from me but scorn and dersision.
I suppose you can point to evidence, if it exists, that shows that "many" dissenters have no respect for the office of President. I would also like to see a shred of evidence that supports your original assertion: that "most anti-Bushers would rejoice if Bush was brutally murdered, imo." That aside, you have mentioned three epithets referring to Bush as a moronic, coke-snorting chimp; each of these is directed squarely at Bush, not at the office itself. I am sure that there is someone (or more than one) who would like to see this president dead (for the record, I am not one of them-with the implications of NSA investigatory power, one can never be too careful). This in no way represents the views of rational people.
1. Bush is a moron. He's the king of the morons. All other morons accept him as their unquestioned leader, while those who are not morons laugh at him. 2. He does look like a chimp. 3. He has a history of cocaine use, excessive alchohol, and likely more. And as I said before. There are more non-supporters not polled than there are supporters not polled. I can't believe no one else is telling you this. Except Annie I think mentioned it. How can you be such a moron? As before: for every 41 (now around 32 isn't it?) Bush supporters not polled, there are 59 (68 or so now?) non-supporters not polled. How can you argue with that? (I did the numbers out of a hundred because I didn't feel right using x.xx people. People are only whole numbers)
If he ever did anything positive, maybe we could see it. I don't know about you, but I can't think of one thing he's done that was positive... You must not be an environmentalist, Justwow...because if you were, you'd probably singing another tune.
Jeb's son will likely be President 20 years from now (after Jeb is President for two terms, that is). He's going down the same path as a young Dubya. Who says America has a disdain for royalty? .
