Busted by parents.

Hey everything's fine... except for how am I gonna smoke Well I'll do it anyway. Screw them. I recorded a CD at a studio and I've decided to drop out of school and get serious about my music. And if they won't let me, I'll try to get expelled. I use the comp in Business Computers class when the teachers not looking. Damn I don't have that long so I gotta go =[ later.

Hahaha they took me to the juvinile detention center and told me they'd turn me in iof I ever did it again and quote "bring your friends down with you." I called the cop a pig. I hope he heard me.

The fact that you're contemplating dropping out of school really does show your intelligence, or lack of it. Seriously, don't drop out of school or get yourself expelled. Education is vital for adolescence, and by dropping out you're taking it for granted.

can you even play an instrument? do you already have a band going? if you dont, then dpnt even think of dropping out to "start your music career" cause it isnt happening unless you already have a band that is doing quite well in your town/other places.

 

Yeah if you drop out of school they'll blame marijuana and basically consider you a hopeless drug addict. hahaha funny and stupid, but true.

 

A) anything said on a public forum is NOT private. Your parent's didn't invade your privacy, you were just stupid. (if i stand outside my parents windows and scream "I SMOKE MARIJUANA!" at the top of my lungs, it would be irrational to say that by hearing that they violated my privacy")
B) you are 15, you have no privacy (that's probably for the better if i remember 15 correctly).
C) Code words are not that good of a fail-safe, saying "I smoked a quarter of tacos by myself the other day" won't fool anyone.
D) don't drop out of school. you will end up badly. i guaran-fuckin-tee it.
E) don't give up on your music, either, it will see you through the best and worst times, if you got the gift nurture it, but not at the expense of everything else.
F) if you parents are that concerned about it, maybe you shouldn't smoke pot right now. If i was the guest in someone's house i wouldn't light up a doob after they made it clear they don't like it. you are a guest.
G) The word Nazi should be banned from the internet lexicon. seriously, your parents aren't Nazis... they may be overprotective but the last real Nazis were the Nazis.

 

You should stay in school so that you will still have internet access.

 

Sorry im not being a nit picking prick but isnt this forum pretty damn traceable? And its about drugs, and using them. If my parents searched my PC there would be hell to pay. My mum has told me that because shes going to become a teacher i cant have any porn cause she'll get the sack. But shes lying, porn never hurt anyone <3

Woodstock, dropping out of school? You're 15, just go to school and finish it. Stop trying so hard to rebel and jus get on with life and do what you can. Tell your parents to stfu and gtfo and go about your day imo. Its your life live it how you want, but for the love of god dont throw away your education

No kidding. I like to smoke every now and then, not as much as most people here im sure but if I ever said

"Yeah, im giving up Journalism, Political Sciences and Philosophy for weed and going into a career where the odds are against everyone"

What this goes back to is don't do anything that you can't accept the consequences. Every time you get high, expect that you will get caught. If you can't deal with it, then don't do it. This applies to everything not just drugs. Sex, stealing eye drops, credit card fraud, ditching school, etc, etc.
I don't feel bad for Woodstock, it was a lesson she needed to learn. Hopefuly she'll be wiser, if not then she'll get caught repeatedly. Personally, I'm getting tired about people whining about gettng busted especially whe doing illegal things. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

This should serve as a valuable lesson to everyone who uses internet communications. Don't ever put things on the net you don't want printed on the front page of the New York Times. Email can very easily get transferred to the wrong person. MySpace or Facebook are easily searchable databases that can cause trouble. many American companies will search these databases and view pictures, comments, etc to get an idea of who you are before they hire you.

 

Just want to make sure you know what you are doing. You want to drop out of HS and seriously work on your music.

Serious work on music by people starting out (like you) involves waiting on tables, being on your feet all day and THEN doing something musical if you have the energy. I think that it would be easier to be serious about music if sitting in class was your only other distraction.

 

Yeah, that's why I give my opinions, tell stories (are they true???) and give advice on this forum. Its also why I do not say what I am going to do next Thursday.

It is foolish to talk about my marijuana use on line. Fortunatly, fools like me don't have folks trying to catch them. Oh sure, if I walk into their arms, they'll write me a traffic ticket for the < Oz. I might be carrying, but no one will go out of their way to bust me.

Lucky teens have two people who are trying to catch them doing stuff. (Unlucky teens have less than two.)

 

So can we hear this CD you recorded? We'll let you know if it's a good idea to drop out after we hear it.

True true, i wasnt hating on you at all man. I dont see why anyone wants to catch me. My parents dont really care, i just came home now with red eyes and said goodnight to my dad grabbed some food and went to my room. They dont really care that much, but if i was reeeaally stoned they might care if it was a college night.
I dont say where i live or anything or who i get it off so im not gunna be followed really, i do nothing wrong. Go to college, work hard so no one really suspects.
