please dont group me with him. in any case, i am ignoring him because he is going off topic and that is not cool with me.

http://www.windermere.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Listing.ListingDetail&ListingID=4656484 Southern coastal oregon it's amazing how cheap beach front property is and it's close to eugene which has a lot of job and a lot of non-profit jobs for psych majors and there's a university in both eugene and corvallis. newport oregon is gorgeous we have a friend who has a house in eugene and a beachfront condo in otter rock she got her condo for 60 thousand and her gorgeous 5 bedroom home for 350 thousand. 350 thousand wouldn't even get you a condo anymore in san diego):
Houses are too much work, i think i would rather have an apartment. At least at an apartment if anything goes wrong they fix it. No lawn mowing either. Of course my energy level is for shit.
North Carolina is in a poor economical situation. We don't have a lot of jobs and rent is getting more expensive each day. The beaches here are beautiful though. Why do you have to be so close to the beach? The mountains are were its at in N.C. Of course the job market here isn't grand either.
I'd say stick in the DC to Philly region to be close to Eastern Shore of MD, and not far from Virginia and the Carolinas...but with jobs. Oregon beaches are pretty, but it isn't what you would call summer type weather very often.
no problem I applied for a job not to far from there and my mom offered to sign for a condo again and that complex is really pretty and on a bay front not an ocean front so there's no erosion. It's mostly vacation rentals though which sucks. I am seriously thinking about it we have a really good friend who lives up there
nothern california is really nice too Triah and a bit warmer but more expensive then oregon. Also I've heard orange beach in the south is really nice but i know that some developers down there are doing some currupt things with hoa's and raising housing prices by collaboration.
I've been to Maine a few times. I love it there. Super gorgeous. I bet the Real Estate there though is a bit pricey.
i dont HAVE to be so close to the beach but as for now im three hours from the beach and the beach is my fav. place in the world and three hours seems too far to me. it's just always my dream to live closer.
Actually around Portland its not too bad. It's probably as cheap of Real Estate that you will find near the beach on the East Coast. Now Bar Harbor or Kennebunkport is a different story - gotta be a millionaire to live there.
I saw President Bush's summer retreat years ago at Kennebunkport. I was like 6 or 7. I can still remember what it looked like. York has some really clean waters. When I was there the water was almost crystal clear. Maybe because it was so cold it was about ready to turn into ice.
see, im just the opposite. i know houses are a lot of work but it's fucking annoying to rent. you pay out all this money for something that you cant done own and never will, you cant make moderations to it (usually), usually you have neighbors, not much of a yard,if any.... i just wanna have my own place where i can do as i please.. if it means more work, ill do it gladly.
Just think of the awesome view you'd have waking up and looking at that every day. I'd love taking walks on the beach at night too. Ooohhh so romantic. I bet the salt water air is terrific on the sinus's.
