I really wish we would get that kind of weather here...
Heat is just getting started and i am already sick of it.
This is going to be a very long, hot and sticky summer....

This winter we hardly had any cool.. Just a few 'cold fronts' that lasted like 2 or 3 days and got like 40 degrees f at the least

the weather here is so nice. it's definitively warm but there's no humidity to speak of. next person i talk to that complains about the heat i am shipping inland where it's probably +40 with the humidex

 

camping was amazing.. but being back home... aaaahhhhhhhh.. feels great

 

catch any fish?

 

meh a couple dinky ones.. really wasn't in the mood to do much fishing.. the 2nd day we just cruised around the area.. we stopped at this man made lake on a stretch of trout stream.. and i was fishing the outflow of water back into the stream.. just dicking around.. and im standing up on this pipe that's bout 4' above the water.. where the water is flowing out of.. and i hooked into a big fish.. it starts pulling line from my hand and from the reel.. i see a flash of golden/brown and i think maybe its a carp.. this water stunk to high hell... so i thought maybe there were some in the lake and this is one that got out..(later i found out there aren't any carp in the lake).. i finally get a look at it and its a giant brown trout.. by far the biggest one i've had on my fly rod.. i had to scale down this pipe.. down the the riprap that was below.. while fighting this fish with rod in hand.. and keeping my line above the grass and out of the weeds.. pretty epic fight going on here... bout 15 min goes by and snap.. line goes limp.. he broke the line.. 8lb test... was pretty much heart broken at that point.

went to dispensary with friends last night.
Smoked some mendo purple and got a huge edible brownie oreo thing.
Said to eat half of it. I only ate about a fourth and by the time i was home i had so much anxiety from it. I guess my not smoking for over a month and the high potency of it made me feel like that

all i know is there was some riffraff on the riprap....wtf is a riprap anyway?.....limpy?...........i like making fun of my partner...he's a fisherman...cant go by a rack of lures without either buying one or stealing one...every time i see him he has a new toy for his tackle box...this summer its some new shot gun he got for xmas...spect i'll be shooting some poor coyotes to smithereens as soon as i can git him here
