belleville? cool. i had looked into going to school in belleville for photojournalism a few years ago.

it's going to be a hot one today, i'm going to go on a bike ride before it gets ridiculous.

 

i just looked at the lineup for big music fest, looks decent. sheepdogs and metric are cool. the arkells played for free down the street from here on thursday, drew a huge crowd.

i gotta smoke a doob and go for a swim....my truck is parked 17k from that rock show in belleville...

 

i did... it was not a good situation.. but there was a lot going on that led to the bad trip..

 

sometimes things can be a bit overwhelming. you will live..

no way i could do shrooms at a festy....i did acid for the original welcome to my night mare tour and let me tell you,back then alice used alot of spiders and blacklights on the set...i sat frozen for 2 hours adraid to fucking move....started peaking just as the show ended and all of sudden

boom...the motherfucking lights come on and i know that everyone within 20 feet of me got tix from my dad and all i could think about was that i couldnt speak...

way too high and i had to bolt but was too stoned to do it...leg problems...everyone looked all deformed and my teeth...omfg my teeth felt like razor blades all sharp...i thought my mouth was bleeding and kept checking for blood and trying to get out of this building where 18000 people were also exiting

 

me and a buddy split an 1/8th of some of the most potent mushies i've ever eaten.. so we head down to the concert bowl as they are kicking in.. Cheese is playing on the main stage.. everything is going great.. I wanted to see this bad Mutaytor.. and was waiting for them to come on another stage.. Mutaytor starts.. and there is all this fire and drums and dudes on stilts.. chinese dragons..... and then Cheese ends and I turn around and there are 1000s of people heading over to this stage... and I freak.. grab my buddy by the shoulder and go "it's time to leave" and he's like "its all good just chill" and i grab him by the shirt and pull him off with me.. and we head back to camp.. as i'm diving into my tent.. I ripped ass.. and everyone around the site is like "did you shit yourself?" jokingly.. and all of a sudden im naked in my tent checking to make sure i didn't.. because its like 95* outside.. and im sweaty.. so for a second.. it kinda felt like i could have.. i'm wrapped up in my blanket and some time later my buddy finally convinces me to get out of the tent.. i don't remember anything after that

I've never done acid at a concert but I feel like it would be a really weird experience. Acid has this particular vibe that makes public settings really weird IMO. Concerts are sometimes weird enough as it is sometimes.

Too bad that all those people ruined your vibe.. that is a pretty funny story though.

The exact same thing once happened to a buddy when coming back from a concert on 2C-B. We smoked a joint before we went into the subway and really peaked, and since it had been stuffy in the show I guess my buddy was sweating and became convinced that he had accidentally shit his pants and that people around him were talking about it.

Public settings can screw up a good vibe easily, so that's why I'm weary of taking psychedelics at big festivals. :2thumbsup:
