Ya I'm looking at doing something next school year as well. I'm tired of dead end jobs.

and yeah, i'm tired of the warehouse. my wife is done school in august 2013, and i plan on going back to school in september 2013. the agreement was that i'd work this job (because there's no way i'd make as much money elsewhere, and we're barely staying above right now) while she went to school for her masters and then i get to go to school when she's done. i still have 14 months left at a job i'm tired of, but when you have something to work towards and someone who depends on your doing it, it makes it easier. i might then do law school after my BA but it's kind of early for that haha.

 

I plan on doing the same thing.. Both of us going back to school at the same time was just too much overwhelming stress for me.. I couldn't focus on school at all... I'm on academic suspension right now because I either dropped or didn't show up and failed the rest of my classes.. she finishes school fall 2013.. I make great money for a cook in town right now.. so i'm just sticking to that.. it'll also give me more time to see what I really want to go back for

 

it's a good way to do it. we could get through on student loans and both go at once, but we didn't want to be $50,000 in debt in our mid twenties. even doing it this way we were on track to be in debt when she finished, but luckily she gets great marks and won a $15,000 provincial scholarship.

 

I just keep my fingers crossed that the banking system will fail within my lifetime

 

you've probably got a pretty good chance. if it does, you'll be pissed for not going all in though...

Failed my driving test today... i was so close! I did everything perfectly up until the end, i drove straight while in a right turn lane... So i automatically failed, i'm so disappointing... Now i'm stuck driving with a parent in the passenger seat for another 2 months or so......

And that's the way it should be! I dunno how it is where you guys all live, but here it's retarded...

You do a book test, and if you pass you get an "L" which means you can drive but only with an adult over 25 with a valid drivers licences, and you have to have this L for an entire year! Then after a year you go for your "N" which means you can now drive alone, but if you do anything wrong the penalties are a lot harsher, then after anoother year you can finally go and get your full licences...

And the road test to get your N is insanely difficult, 80% of the people fail their first time... i know people who have failed on their 5th and 6th time, it's rediculous...

I know its for saftey reasons and all and to protect "young drivers" but why the hell do we all have to suffer just because there are a few immature retards out there? Just because teens have been stupid and drank and drove and sped and killed themselves in the past, why must we all go through this agonizing process now? Natural selection... let the retards kill themselves, let the rest of us drive... lol

 

you got yours before tests were invented...i've taken about 5 tests in various provinces and for suspensions etc...never failed once..cant believe people fail at all...driving is one thing that i am good at..cat like reflexes and mistrust of every other person on the road is my way of driving

Actually I applied for a drivers permit and they sent me a license. Go figure.


Since then I've taken, and passed, a lot of written tests when I moved to different states, but never had to do a driving test.

 

the problem is, shitty drivers kill people other than themselves too. therefore, if you're not a good enough driver to pass the test, you shouldn't be driving.
