C-Section Question

just posting the definition of android pelvis here, should anyone wonder:

Definition of Android pelvis
Android pelvis: There are significant differences in the anatomy of the pelvis in the female and male.

The android or male pelvis is more robust, narrower, and taller than the female pelvis. The angle of the male pubic arch and the sacrum are narrower as well.

The female pelvis is more delicate, wider and not as high as the male pelvis. The angle of the female pubic arch is wide and round. The female sacrum is wider than the male's and the iliac bone is flatter. The pelvic basin of the female is more spacious and less funnel-shaped.

From a purely anatomic viewpoint, the female pelvis is better suited to accommodate the fetus during pregnancy and permit the baby to be born.

 

you know, i actually had a guy on here tell me that i shouldn't have had children at all, it was unnatural for me to survive birth, and therefore selfish.

 

Y'know, I have that "lesbian finger" thing, too. Where your ring finger is longer than your pointer finger. But, I am pretty fem most of the time. Guess I have more boy in me than some girls, but I was never butch, go figure.

thanks eveyone who responded to whoreturtle in such a considered adult informative manner and hopes that they appreciate the fact that they didn't get the cyber shit kicked out of them for being such a judgemental ill informed uneducated moron...do go look at the graveyards or some reasons why women used to die so young in the past please...either that or go to some third world country and experience it now!! Of course c-sections are overprescribed in western society however you might care to treat each person and situation a bit more individually and therefore come to understand that for a large proportion ofwomen who undergo these they are making a serious choice that is not taken lightly...not sure about anyone else but far as I can tell the recovery from a c-section was far slower than that of natural birth and given the choice most women will make a sensible one...

When I was expecting my twins, my little boy (which was dubbed as baby A in my womb), was head down, but my little girl (baby B) was breech. Because the presenting baby, my little boy, was head down, I was told that I could try for a vaginal delivery, and then they would try to manually move my little girl if she didn't do so on her own. Well, long story short, I ended up having my little boy twin vaginally and my little girl twin by c-section. Double birth, baby.

OT to KC, I have almost freakishly long ring fingers. What IS that about? I'm straight, too. I don't get it. I wonder if there is some connection between the male like pelvis and the finger configeration? I wonder if anyone has even looked at it?

 

i'm not sure. i have noticed that all the narrow-hipped women i know have long ring fingers, well, long fingers in general. but i don't know any wide hipped women who have the long ring finger. i only noticed because of my little sister. naturally it's not a hard and fast rule, and not all narrow hips are android pelvis. just something i've picked up on.

 

I have never heard of that. Naturally, I immediately looked at my own hands. Well, I'll be! And all these years I thought I was heterosexual!

You know what's weird? On one hand, the difference in lengths appears to be greater. Well, this explains why I never got interested in makeup. (I'm kidding.)

 

Well, I have some good news... I went to the doctor today and it turns out that my baby is no longer breech. Infact the doctor said my baby's head is really far down. ( I guess that's good). So much for that whole idea that I made my baby stay breech because I was afraid, because Im just as scared as I was before...go figure!
