my subconscious is just fucked up, and it becomes more fucked up the more sober i get, my wings have been broken since i was a kid

I never liked baths because of the film it left on me (I didn't feel all the way clean afterwards).

It never dawned on me to shower after to rinse off, lol.

Also, when I was a kid I had to take more than a few baths made from boiled snow water because the water pipes were frozen to our house. Good times, good times.

When I was 20-year-old space case dropped off society's mother ship, I was briefly in the presence of a couple who were friends of such as had the patience to be my friends then. The girl said to the guy, referring to me, "Why doesn't he say anything?" Her guy looked at me piercingly and answered, "Because he's smart."

See, in those days I knew if I opened my mouth everyone would know I was crazy and fucked-up. And then they would send me to the forest to die.

Now I open my mouth and say all kinds of crazy fucked-up shit. The difference the intervening years have made is that I've learned to love my crazy fucked-up shit.

Also having someone in my head seeing every fucked-up thought 24/7 and still loving me has helped. Of course, she also does stuff that tends to make my thoughts even more fucked-up. More shit to love, innit?

Hubby can't stand too long in the shower. I bought him a shower seat. It's pretty cool; I tried it out.

I, on the other hand, would not be able to get out of a tub. My joints are too bad.

My dream is one of those walk-in tubs like seen on the t.v. commercials. That would be awesome.

Every time I see those commercials all I can think of is that you have to sit in the dirty water until it drains enough so you can open the door to get out. Yuck! I would rather take a shower.

 

Well...Hmmm...I'd use it for soaking away stiffness, not really for cleaning myself. I think I'd take a shower first and then get in the soaking tub.
