I had a diamond engagement ring that I pawned to buy husband's medicine and some food for us; we never could afford to go get it out.

I don't like expensive stones and fancy jewelry. I don't go anywhere to dress up for diamonds and pearls. I've got hippie looking jewelry with colored stones. I like them the best.

It's important to some people but not to me. I mean it was nice when I got it! I enjoyed it the whole time I had it but when it came down to getting it out of the pawn shop or buying another week of medicine for my husband, there was no contest.

 

I spend some time on a first nation reservation this week and I got a necklace made of a wolf tooth. It's supposed to represent and help with family and relationships lol. We'll see. I'm obsessed with it though. Theres a piece of the enamel that has been chipped off. I can't help but wonder how this wolf chipped his tooth. Probably doing something badass.

Just to be safe, I made sure not to buy a laptop. 2500$ macbook pro in the garbage within a month made for a pretty sad shivy. It's not like I'm the kind of dude that has 2500$ readily available. This time I bought a refurbished mac mini for 470$. I will add a bit a RAM and it will be good enough to do recording. I had an old keyboard and mouse lying around, and today I went to Future Shop and bought a little out of the box TV for 82$.

600$ and I'm set
