I don't find any fault in it either, I just dont really see how he was a 'trail blazer' in all this. There are a lot of gay athletes coming out within the past few years which I think is good. People should have to hide anything.

She's just looks like this fabulous aging starlet from old Hollywood... Yeah, she's obviously had some work done, but that's part of the Hollywood package these days and I don't think people should be shamed for doing what they want with their own bodies. I think she's gorgeous.

I had LGTB in mind but just said gay because the athletes coming out recently were gay but not transgender. So hes definitely not the first from that community.

 

I dont know if I would call her a trailblazer per se...she has money to follow through with the transformation in a way poorer transexuals cannot, and she also lives in a liberal Hollywood culture where anyone who publically disses her will be shamed by legions of kardashian fans. So I think in some ways bruce/caitlyn Jenner has it easier than most transexuals.

but I know the suicide rate amongst transexuals is extremely high and if Caitlyn Jenner serves as an icon or a hero for this group of people than more power to her.

Yes, I said she has the funds earlier and much more of a buffer comfort with the money....living in one of the best sections of CA....on a hill in Malibu overlooking the ocean where only 5 other houses are, etc., etc.....

I learned a lot from his interview, I said that before. To me, that would help just to get some info out there and he does have the platform for it. Ignorance and fear breed hate. If he helped in this way...he may have helped a lot of people. Sorry...."she".

 

Not throwing any stones at Bruce / Caitlyn, but a lot of people in different situations have similar feelings. Unless you have enough money to tell every narrow-minded person in the world to go fuck themselves, everybody who has nonstandard feelings, values, and beliefs has to be a bit of a fraud at times, myself included.

I'm sure Chris Jenner threatened to kill him/her if they did anything that was not up to the highest possible cosmetic standards. The only rule for a Kardashian: never look bad. Appearance is everything.

I think a key milestone in evolving into a true social liberal is the moment when we stop trying to figure people out, and just accept. It's not easy.

Living in the public eye, everybody acts like they have a right to be all up in your business. Most people don't have to deal with anything like that. Also, there's a lot of pressure associated with being the first famous person to do some particular thing. Everybody who follows gets compared to you.

Online, you can call yourself whatever you want.

I don't rip on blacks or men that are women.....I am not as interested in the women who are really men though, for some reason.....but I don't rip on them.
Anyway, whether you like him or it or not, article in the paper here today projected that Caitlyn will be a 500 million dollar babe....making more money than any other Kardashian....I guess this real life story is more appealing to the masses than just booty.

 

I see a few women who want to be men here as park rangers every day...they carry guns and are always holding onto their belt buckle near their guns when you talk to them. I just smile ...say hello and move along....they are quite common.....
