The poeple were just picknicking...one had her rabbit there not on a leash. I am like really? Deer and all kinds of things run through here with no leashes and you are picking on some poor lady for having her rabbit here not leashed......that is what i thought.

well, there are not feminine in any way....and i don't know about their genders....do not really care enough about it.

 

I just meant when Sonny and Cher';s daughter went male...it was not as interesting to me as Caitlyn now...for whatever reason that is within me about it.

 

So there you have it. Gender traits are a social construct invented by society. Transgenderism is about mentally torturing one's self to become something they're not. Hence my comparisson to all those white youth out there who try to be black and talk ebonics; these white kids and transgenders won't accept the hand they were dealt at birth. Only difference is that society doesn't pity them like they do the trans people. Now I don't care what anybody does to their own body; I don't care if they mutilate their genitals to artificially mask their real DNA. As long as they aren't harming or hurting anyone else, I don't care. But tax-funded genital mutitations are where it begins to harm others.

 

I grew up with alot of blacks...and I move black when I dance, so i am told....

Wrong. You're comparing apples and oranges. Trans is a medical condition, and for you to say that society pities trans folks is also totally false. Do you know how many trans people are killed just for trying to be the people they were meant to be? And all the Bruce Jenner jokes (when he first began his transition) makes me wonder where pity plays into it all? Comparing whites wanting to be black to what a trans person goes through is just plain silly. Can we please stay on topic? Thanks

 

Caitlyn Jenner is just getting attention on this because the Kardashians put him her in the spot light again; otherwise, I doubt we'd have heard very much about it.

 

Well, I never watched the show, so I first learned about this from the internet. In fact, when I watched Bruce being interviewed by Diane Sawyer, it was the first time I'd seen/heard him in years. Now I can't wait to see an interview with Caitlyn

 

on the retro today..

I was fairly disappointed in a few folks in person and online who reacted to this whole story with hate and cruelty. I don't see how this can really offend anyone, it's not hurting anything, and if someone else makes a decision that makes them happier, it should make others happy. And it ends there.

 

I used to watch Happy Days when I was still a young teen. I think I remember the episode you just saw. Richie didn't look very convincing as a woman, but the Fonz was sexy as hell

 

Awesome way to look at it. I don't know why so many people hate on Caitlyn. Maybe it's because she has so much money? It might be more about that. Or maybe most folks are in shock that a very masculine Olympic Gold Medalist winner always felt more female than male? I wish more people thought like you

 

While the world seems to have embraced the wonder that is Caitlyn Jenner - - at least one woman isn't having it.

And she's gaining support.

Jennifer Bradford started a petition asking the International Olympic Committee to revoke the 1976 decathlon gold medal from the former Bruce Jenner. Jenner last month revealed to Diane Sawyer she was transgender and came out yesterday on the cover of Vanity Fair as a woman.

"We must now either claim that Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner are two entirely different people (which we know is not true), or that Bruce Jenner was, in fact, a woman participating in a men's event," Bradford writes in her petition.

With the hashtag #givebackthegold, Bradford goes on spread some love to Jenner, writing "congratulations to Ms. Jenner for her courage!"

More than 2,500 have signed the petition so far. Bradford is seeking 5,000 supporters.

Yes, I read that online earlier today. Frankly, I think the woman is jealous as hell. Bruce Jenner was still struggling w/his sexual identity the whole time he trained for the Olympics. But he trained hard, and it paid off. He was still male when he won, so this whole issue is just another example of how many people in society look down on trans. Also, Bruce stated in the Diane Sawyer interview that his transition means more to him than being viewed as an Olympic champion. So I doubt she (as Caitlyn) is shedding any tears over this backlash.

 

yeah, makes no sense to me....it was a million years ago and as a male, Bruce won that gold medal fair and square. get a life lady.....
