I think maybe it is kinda like being hypnotized while high... which might I add has happened to me on several occassions

Bingo.

That would be why. You smoked a hash joint then a bowl of hash? Thats a shit ton of hash. A bowl of hash contains considerably more THC then a bowl of dank. Hash also has a different sort of high then straight up weed, which would explain why you felt so different.
