Why not vote libertarian? Your vote goes towards funds if I am not mistaken... BTW- Green. Mainly because they are more left than the Tories, but not as Eastern as the Grits and I just can't back the NDP after Layton attempting to boycott the debates if Harper wouldn't show up is May showed up...
layton would cut business tax breaks to corporations, then they'd relocate to other countries who will give them a tax break. Means more Canadians out of work and the poor even poorer. layton tries to come off as a "working man's leader" but he's nothing but a union crony who'll do anything to screw businesses.
Try and run... But I guess if there isn't a population for it, or you don't have the time then I get it too. I doubt I would run for any party.
If I could, it'd be Green or NDP...I haven't decided, and I see no point in deciding, 'cause I can't.
I still have seven months to wait ...and I know WHC, I don't really mind so much about whomever I vote for getting in, to me it's about showing the support and wearing the colours, 'cause I'm real sick of people who think that not voting Conservative or Liberal is "a waste of a vote". I don't know who I'd choose right now, I'd prolly try to research the individual MPs a bit to decide on the party.
I'm probably voting liberal, even though they have a shitty leader. I personally think Justin Trudeau would be a good leader, more people would go for them if he did.
Ponit is, if you never votw for who you want to, then they will never win a seat. The more votes a party gets, the more money they recieve in fnuding.
Wow, I can't believe anyone on here is voting Conservative... I'll vote either NDP or Green. I don't trust Harper, or DeSouza (in my riding). Both the Liberals and the Conservatives are for the SPP - and as Wall Street just crashed, it's just another example of why we should be distant neighbours to the USA.
right, at least vote against who you DO NOT want in! Did you love that speech of Steven Harper's which was EXACTLY the same as the speech of the Australian PM's 3 days before?!
Well. That was interesting. I would definitely be sticking with my original choices after that...still don't know which would be better however.
What I will say though, is that Ms. May did appear to be the most prepared and well-read of all those at the table. You can tell she took this opportunity seriously, and needs to be taken seriously increasingly in Canadian politics through the next several years. I was happy to see how she spoke on many of the topics.
i cut into it after the american vp ended, but from what I saw of may she is exactly the type of person I don't ever want making decisions for anyone, except her children.
Stephen Harper was totally called on all his bullshit. It was hilarious to watch him stroke his fingers every time someone called his bluff (poker strategy). Anyone notice he wasn't wearing a wedding ring? What happened to family values? My roommate noticed it when he referred to his wife or family. If it wasn't for the SPP, I would vote for Dion. His answers (even though they were hard to understand) were the most logical and reasonable. After the debate, I'm leaning toward Layton (I would vote for May if they had a chance in my riding). Oh, and just as I think in every FLD, if he weren't the leader of the Bloc Quebecois, I would vote Dieuseppe. He had the best answers of them all, just like every time (too bad about the whole sepratism thing, oh, and not being able to vote in BC for him anyway).
