Where do you live? In different states where it's legal they have different regulations as to how potent a single edible can be. 5 mg. is usually the minimum, with most people will get them nicely high. If you're tolerance is higher you might want to try 10 mg. at once and figure it out from there.

Edibles are good to have. The high last for hours. Takes about 45 minutes to kick in. Sooner if you are a very active person. For me it takes 20 minutes as I'm a runner and my metabolism is very high. I can eat like a pig and still lose a pound lol

You can actually get as high as 50 mg. per candy in Oregon. Then you can cut the candy up into pieces. Careful, even a quarter piece is 12 1/2 mg!
