I've been sufficiently stoned for about the last 8 hours... From D8... didn't touch the other stuff today. Hmmmm...

This is getting interesting.

 

Delta 8 is found in most weed... It's always been assumed that it was only the Delta 9 that was any good, though.

 

So I made a run back down to the smoke shop today and got two more of those D8 dabs... Should hold me for awhile.

I had smoked the dabs yesterday around 3:00 in the afternoon... still stoned around 11:30 when I went to bed... Woke up around 4:30 to take a piss and was still buzzed. Got up at 7:00 smoked a small bowl of flower around 8:30 and it seemed to kick last night back in again.

And it's legal... at least for now.

 

The first D8 wax is called White Widow, which is the same "strain" of D8 flower I like. (I like for joints, other "strains" taste better through the pipes.) The WW dab has a very nice "pine" essence going on. NOTE: I have never smoked actual WW... Just so ya know.

The second two I got are different... Don't remember exactly what right now. Haven't even opened them yet. I'm still working on the first batch.

From what I've seen with D8 products. There is a D8 distillate made from hemp plants, strain or part of the plant doesn't matter, it's pure D8. Which is then combined with "natural terpenes" also from hemp... (gotta be hemp to be legal.) It's these terpenes that make one "strain" different from another in the final product. Vape/Dab/Edibles, etc. The D8 flower are actual hemp buds grown for smoking with D8 distillate "applied" (Spray/ Vacuum/ Wizardry/ Magic). These buds are actual CBD or CBG "strains" which I bet are gene spliced with weed for everything, look, flavor, qualities, except D9 THC is a no no... It's happening too fast for actual breeding to be going on. I'm not a grower but within a years time the types and quality of the buds now is amazing. It's "built in a lab" hemp. I've tried quite a few strains, they react as expected.

I'm pretty sure when the feds signed the farm bill in 2018 they didn't see this coming... lol

In other news, the fines I sifted from my compost tests about 6.75 on both the pH meter AND the chemical test, testing for nutes in about 4-5 hours .

Seed city offering a freebie 8 miles high for every $50 spent so I see some pretty plants in my future.

 

I just finished off a gram of White Widow bud. Good stuff but I've had better. They keep raising the potency of the best weed, it's up to around 30 - 40% THC now. Most 20% stuff can be bought cheap now.

 

Labor Day sale at the online store I get D8 flower... Guess I had to buy some. At least I'll have some reserves...

 

I plan to get a new vape cartridge today. This looks interesting.

I'm getting it at a reputable dispensary and it's unflavored. The only test I do is to take a toke after I leave the dispensary, make sure it works in my pen. I got burned once before so I make sure it's good before I leave the area.

So the stuff in my new cartridge is called Nigerian Silver. Really good shit! I rely on Leafly.com heavily to find me the good shit.

 

The cartridge had the extract in it but it wouldn't heat up and give me a toke. Just plain defective. And I bought it far from home so it wasn't worth a trip back to exchange it. So now when I buy a cartridge I test it in the parking lot before I leave. Live and learn.
