Large industry including the automobile industry? I saw an advert on TV the other day for these new eco friendly fuel efficient cars that are better for the environment, makes fuck all difference when you consider that more than 90% of the pollution generated by cars is through their production, large industry production. Just sayin'
So be it indeed, i still shed tears because of large industry, landfills and ESPECIALLY rain forest destruction. Trees are my best friends, not one has ever said a bad word against me. For the love of love please rethink your wicked ways Peace.
Daniel's first car has a sticker that says that on the window. It also has shag carpet. It's the funniest car ever.
There are like three car plants in Kansas City, none of which have massive smokestacks...I actually can't remember but I don't think they have one at all. The paint factories and chemical refineries in KC are what has the giant smokestacks... Most cars I am interested in have already been built, anyways. And a lot of luxury (exotics) cars are built by hand and don't use crazy amounts of machinery to make you even THINK there would need to be a smokestack... :cheers2: lol I figured
I am wicked because I drive a car, enjoy cars, and plan to use a car in the future (as hobby or transportation). I'd say rethink your sensitivity, but I wouldn't want to make you shed a tear.
You'd love my 3/4 ton 4x4.....I put double purple hornies straight through pipes and wicked tires that tear up the Earth as I go smashing through the bush making my own trails
Where do you think the metal comes from that they make cars from, and how much energy is used to melt it down, fire-cut it and shot blast, then weld it all together?
Cos hippies only drive old Citroen CVs from the 1970s.Which are shit. And everyone here is a hippy. Apart from everyone I' chatted with ...
You said car industry not metal, too Seriously though, I could give a rat's ass. Cars are more than just transportation for a lot of people
Me neither, I don't give that much of a shit. There's nothing I or anyone can do about it, the world is obsessed with cars and one day the world will learn the errors of it's way. I wish there weren't the fucking things pretty much EVERYWHERE I go, but that's just the way things are. If only the human race had the wisdom to realise that we could probably organise ourselves a whole lot better, without creating so much noise/waste/wasted energy, and make the oil that we have last for fucking ages, during which time someone will probably invent a magic nuclear fusion station, and we'd all be happier and healthier into the bargain.
I feel that cars are the least of our worries though...pollution can be cut down more in other aspects. Have stricter exhaust regulations on industry, fight rainforest destruction, and cut landfill and water pollution. People at least benefit from using cars. Most other pollutions are a result of big industry's search for cutting corners and saving money
I disagree. Cars might take people to work when it's bad weather, but so what? I'd rather get soaked every so often on my way to work than turn into a fat couch potato. And it would be nice if I could come home and get a decent nights kip without the noise of my next door neighbours diesel engine waking me up every morning at 7.
I have tonnes of those lil cars. I would totally post in that forum. Take pictures of the collections n shit. QFT. (But the trees were well slaggin you off the other day. They said yo mama was a whore an liked it behin the bike shed wit the maths prof. Oh yeah and they said yous got greasy hair.)
