    I snatched another kitten.

Inside kitten count = 5 inside vs 6 outside.

Lordhavemercy! He said she is fat and sassy. lol

No, he said she was fat and "not as nice as the other cats you've brought in". :D Anyway, he couldn't find anything wrong with her without tests, which were ALL going to be fairly expensive (not counting the vet appt that was happening then). I said we would wait on the tests until she at least seemed to be sick when I brought her in.

She was acting fine! gad I mean I'm glad and all that but FGS she is like one of my cars that would act up and seem "sick" until about 2 or 3 days before I was scheduled to take it to a mechanic and then it (the car) would drive like new. Like the doctor, the mechanics would invariably say they couldn't tell me what was wrong until they saw (or could hear) what the car (or cat) was doing wrong.

When I described the odd colored throw-up, the vet said just to be careful what I gave her to eat, which is either Purina Indoor/Outdoor or Purina Complete dry food.

I told him she also ate EVERYTHING that didn't run away from her and I couldn't seem to get any control over what my mother would slip and give her. He laughed. again, gad

Sad to see living creatures being uncared for. I've been wanting to volunteer at a shelter and help animals in need. Animals are one of the things that make me the happy person I am

This cat is doing very well. I need to take pics. He is an Albino. Two percent of cats born are Albino.

Actually, I have 14 cats here atm. I have 5 of them indoors.

Only one of these cats is neutered. He stays outside.

I have an awful problem on my hands.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the 3 feral moms have already gone into heat and may be pregnant again.

I was hoping to win big on Family Feud and get all these cats trapped, neutered, and released.

Now, I'm going to have to look into some of the cat rescue groups around here and see if there's any help to be had. I know there are thousands of people nearby with the same problem so I'm doubtful anyone will be able to help me.

Sigh... I fed one feral female and the explosion began.

Well, what is there to do but feed a hungry (starving otherwise) cat?

I feel for you, Aeri, but I have confidence you will get it figured out and taken care of.

BB has in this past week decided she should PISS ON THE SHEET that covers me while I'm asleep! :cuss: She is now being put in another part of the house, with the doors shut, when I go to sleep. godalmighty

She's telling you something is wrong... Either there has been a change around the house or she's not feeling well.

But she doesn't do this (pee outside the litter box/on the bed) any other time except for when I'm asleep. Do females "mark" what they consider their territory? (so that Brownie would know not to come and lay in the bed with me, which he has done from time to time?)

Just the other week the vet said she seemed fine...paid the bill for a "well cat" visit...but of course he'd be glad to "run some tests" ($$$ or $$$$)

She is now sitting in my lap...but sitting where she can watch what Brownie is doing behind us.

Female cats will mark their den, male cats mark their territory... "fixed" cats usually won't do either.

If male cats are not 'fixed' before they get in the habit of spraying they will sometimes continue after being fixed.

That's true... for a male with a few years before being neutered they will sometimes continue to do so. Some will act like they are spraying but nothing comes out too.

In Lynn's case I bet the cat is PO'd about some change in the household, real or perceived. Could even be Lynn's odd, ever changing, work schedule. Cats like things to never change once they get used to things "as they were". One of the cats I lost in the fire (R.I.P. Mister) started peeing on the bed after a move to a new house. I had to get a tarp and use it for a bedspread/coverlet. Luckily he never did it while I was in the bed. He used to shit on the EX's side too... May have been something she did. After the divorce and another move it stopped.

I had a Manx/Siamese who was a one person cat and once as my lady's bare foot was in mid air Woody (RIP) jumped in front of her and shat right where her foot would land.

Did BB ever have interactions with Freckles? Maybe she is aware that Freckles is gone.

That could very well be the case. My work schedule has definitely been changing (significantly) in the last month or so.

Also, that is sort of hilarious about Mister shitting on the ex's side.

nah, BB has been strictly an inside cat since being rescued...except for the moments she dashes outside, only to roll around in the drive, and then immediately be caught and brought back inside.

BB is quite the handful, and doesn't play well with other animals, although she generally loves people. lol She just began being able to tolerate my sweet Brownie without hissing this year. The closest they come to "playing" is to chase each other through the house; but, they haven't done that lately.
