Caring For Abandoned and Feral Cats

Good for you Aerianne.

Cats like to hide and hang out in paper bags etc. but a lot of them don't like cat carriers or moving vehicles.

 

7 cats spayed/neutered in 3 days!

The ride home was frightening.

I had 4 cats roaming the car as I drove because the vet put them all in cardboard carriers which they immediately broke out of. For instance - Here's a snapshot from one second of the ride - there was a big cat on the dashboard, a kitten under my feet, a kitten in my lap, and a cat looking out the the back window.

I'm exhausted.

 

Just wanted to post the recipe for the cat food I make.



20 chicken thighs
2 bags frozen carrots
2 cups fresh spinach
3 whole boiled eggs
12 cups of oatmeal
20 fish oil capsules
2 cups diatamaceous earth

I need to buy some bone meal or a grinder that will handle bones.

Santa, if you're listening, I take donations to help these babies.

I got 7 spayed and neutered recently but the money ran out.

I have 9 more that need to be "fixed".


Mabon is the only one not related to the others.

All the others are siblings or cousins.

 

I found a place that will spay ferals for $15, with no appointment. You can drop of up to two cats between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning and pick them up in the evening.

This is going to be so helpful!

 

I started putting together this cat condo and had 4 occupants right off the bat!
