money... way too expensive for gas and would take a couple days.. and my parents would freak out. i wish i could say fuck luggage though... hmmmm.... that might be a good idea, actually.. pack the ultimate bare essentials. thanks.
don't forget gum for your ears.... and at all possible if it's your first time to fly... try to get there as early as you can so you can get on the plane first., or atleast up front close to the cockpit. It's less noisy up there. I've sat in front middle and rear. It freeked me out when we landed and I first saw the claps swing over the engines so they could reverse them to slow down.
thanks unkle john i have flown numerous times, though it's been a while... couple years now, but i'm not too worried about that... gum is a good idea though. I started off thinking I want to be as comfortable as i am at home while i'm there, but now i'm looking at it more as an adventure.. lol. i think that'll help with packing too, (less is more, or something)... eeeeeeeekkk.... butterflies.
only pack a tooth brush, a thong, and a box of condoms. end revel in the funny looks the inspector gives ya
If you can really fit all your luggage in (normal sized) carry-on, that's cool... but if you really need two large packs, check one. It's not *that* bad to check luggage, most of the time it gets there okay. Many people seem to think carry-on means 'if I can carry it, it's on', and end up looking like a mountain of luggage on legs while boarding, but that's really annoying both for the other passengers and the cabin crew.
well... for anybody that cares for continental the carry-on luggage limit is one bag that's measurements equal 51" and is 40lbs or less... plus one personal item(purse, laptop, etc) aaaaaand my plane leaves in 7 hrs! i'm nervous/anxious/excited...... please wish me luck in crossing the border and getting there safely... i've never been to another country by myself, nor for longer than a few hours.
