i might head to the beach today and see if any wood has washed up.....ive lucked out a few times ad dragged home massive pieces of valuable driftwood which i then dry and burn ,,,,hot divorcee has at least a ton of driftwood from the beach over by her place...she uses it as decoration.....for a while i had a entire section of fence made of driftwood.....but then winter came and i used it all in the woodstve

Weather sucks, waves suck, we haven't had decent surf in months. Beaches are closed due to too much rain washing bacteria into the water. So even if we had good waves it would suck.

Cold...cloudy...rainy...

Another weekend wasted inland.

do y'all water ski ad knee board,wakeboard behind speed boats down there?

 

I've never seen it. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though. My favorite surf spot is pretty much a dedicated surf spot. You'll see a few stand-up-paddle-boarders, sure, but I've never seen wakeboarding. Maybe if I was at a more "all-purpose" beach, for lack of better term.

Now, water skiing? I've never seen that anywhere, ever, in the ocean. But back East growing up, I'd see that all the time on the various lakes. Never did it myself, but my uncle had a boat, and we'd go tubing--essentially the same as water skiing, except you're lying across an inner tube instead of standing up on a ski.

 

ive had any tubing injuries....a sport you can do drunk......actually better drunk so when you hit that water at 50 miles an hour and flip and skip across it...or hanging on but then you hit the wake just right and there uis o hanging on after that...10-15 feet in the air and come down hard

Never did anything like that.

Been bounced off the tube into a few uninvited belly flops, but that's all.

 

Still in our PJs and day drinking with the missus while dancing around our living room and jamming out to some totally rad music.

Okay, couldn't make it to the beach, but still...turning out to be a great Sunday. I know a lot of folks want to live like the royal family or movie stars, but I dunno. My quirky, crazy little life is perfect for me.

Tacocat, Pico eggs with too much cilantro, an itinerary involving Hulu and YouTube laid out, Kraken in the middle of the day...life is good.

wanted to fix my car but ended up using up my energy on the four wheeler...finally swapped out the weak winch with a good one...hopefully ill never need it again but good to know it will work well if i do

gonna put new cable on it this week need to get one next time im in town

visiting my black family for some tree when 4, 3rd graders are there watching TV. one puts on some rap stuff and prison life shit on and they watched it for a little while, and then the one kid said "can we watch something else now?", and another said "why you scared?". and the other one says "no its just stupid and boring"..
