I read a list of British terms that dont mean the same thing in America..I just read this list an hour ago then I see one of the terms discussed here, thats cool. I know all about jumpers now .And being pissed, but I already knew that one

 

Over here, we call them "sweaters".

We call the dress with the straps a "jumper".

We call the pants with the bib and straps "overalls".

We call a suit with long pants, long sleeves, and a zipper (or snaps for a baby) "coveralls".

 

Let's call the whole thing off...

 

I picture a Spandau ballet as being another name for a jumper.

 

The only jumpers I know is that Sleater-Kinney song.

Having 2 nieces and a nephew I never see because they wouldnt come here because of satan.
