main difference between us and canada for firearms is that is the us its a right...in canada its deemed a priviledge

main difference with natives is we made treaties and gave them rights ..traded with them instead of just conquering

Its probably similar like here. You have to be in a certain function/profession to carry them (concealed) in public. Otherwise you are restricted to a range or other specified kind of property. Unless of course you're a hunter. Which remains to be the most useful reason to carry and use a rifle in the first place. Unless you're in the USA of course :p: there its simply the only way to feel save in public, or even in your own home

i have thought this repeatedly. i started wearing long flowy hippy skirts in high school, peasanty boho tops, suddenly they were popular. i had to make my own really out-there clothes to be different, i made rainbow fleece overalls (awaiting button repair now) and camo fake fur overalls. i doubt i could squeeze those over my mom-ass and thighs now, but i still have them somewhere.
but thats fine, if im going to be a trendsetter, i will set some fun ones. im still deciding what historical outfit i want to make first, because i need to make the underthings first, stays/ corsets and petticoats. then i can make the dress that goes over them. then i can ask for the historical reproduction shoes for my birthday or something... i dont normally buy quality shoes, i just go cheap. so i can probably justify $200 a pair just in past years savings. eh, we will see. they have new reproductions being released soon.

We have black people in America.

You have 8% black people in Holland.

If I have to use a firearm to defend my home from somebody busting through a door or a window, I am putting my money on black.

    Thats not racist thats realistic.

Id really like to see your little white 35 year old European know it all ass come to my neighborhood and try to sing kumbaya with some of the people here.

People like to compare America to other countries making it look bad that are way whiter than America without taking that into account. Its apples and oranges.

For instance cops in Finland fired 6 bullets per year total where American cops kill 1,000 people a year. Yeah thats because Finland is almost all white.... but the Somali population there is causing some problems.

*Probably has nothing to do with them, its all the "systems" fault*
    *sarcasm

my impression is that the uk is basically the same laws as here...we kind of inherited most of our law from the queen...government land is still called crown land here

pistols are restricted to law enforcement and a few rare occupations like brinks guards, conservation officers etc.. ...trappers way up north can legally carry but never concealed...i think prospectors might be allowed too but both of those are rare permits that are a hassle to get

civilian owned pistols can only be kept at home ,,,can only be transported with locks and in another locked container to and from a legal range if you belong to one (and you need an authorization to transport).......get caught on a road that isnt between those two places and you get charged as a criminal

hunting rifles need a licence but the storage and transportation laws are much reduced

when we hunt we're mostly on crown land.....can hunt on private but you need written permission

i imagine most of uk is private land

also got to make sure were not on native reserve land...they dont like to let us there but they sure like using crown land....native are allowed to basically hunt whatever they want whenever they want wherever they want

It is here. Almost every piece of land is spoken for :p
Crown land sounds awfully archaic but we used to have those too naturally. Quite a few folk stories about poaching 'royal' deer :-D
Seems reasonable. Except... not on other peoples private property without permission i would think?

Well, if they're really native as in descendants of the original population they kind of have a point :D

    nope

thats what the treaties were for

just because they dont agree about what theyre ancestors agreed to doesnt mean they suddenly own the land
