Casino Royale Sucks, Worst Bond Movie Ever

Exactly! Well, that's aside from the fact that I think the substance of the movies brought down Brosnan's films, not Brosnan himself.
It just got ridiculous how the series started with a bit of cool technology thown in here and there in Connery's era and just kept escalating until you have shit like a glass-breaking ring that gets 1 stupid use and an invisible car with mounted auto-targeting shotguns. Bringing the focus back to the character was the way to go, and Craig does it in great style.

I think it's funny that the recent (Brosnan) era gets the most flak, yet it's from those films that people seem to get their notion of Bond as a freakish action hero toting super high-tech gear.
Casino Royale didn't capture Bond's super-stud sex drive, they didn't try or need to. They did a great job of showing how he eventually ended up as basically a womanizer.

The movie just got more boring as it went on.
I realy wish i could have the 2 hours of my life that i wasted on that movie back.
Then i would go jerk off or sumthin...

I watched the DVD last night and for second time I enjoyed it. The chase scene on foot was well coordinated and the poker game was excellent although somewhat anticlimactic.

My only complaint was with the bond girl who didn’t exactly blow me away with her looks or personality. I know she was only a bookkeeper but still

I'm a big Peter Sellers fan, so when this movie is on tv, I try to watch it, but I always lose interest quick... maybe if some day I can actually catch it before it's an hour in =P

 

I think they sould let Bond die gracefully. I mean, the first fifteen movies where fun. I think it isn't a secret that Hollywood is completely out of ideas.

 

I think it all depends on this next movie...

 

Or rather that they ran out of Ian Fleming books

 

They should get even better.
Perhaps even remake a few to be more like the books themselves.
All of Sean an Roger's films were awful.
A. Because of the time they were made.
B. The effects available to them.
C. Neither of them can act.

perhaps you need to watch Goldeneye more closely.. lol. Bond is running on this iron grated walkways, they are shooting at him from below, but dont hit a single lamp with all the bullets spray. hahah thats funny..
