Lol so I was right. Yeah I got lucky when I was staying there, my moms boyfriend at the time had a condo in del mar. The ones right across from the horse track. It was up on a little hill and had a view of the track and solana beach. I was 15, I'd just take the car and drive all around even though I had no license :devil:

Loved that place. I could skateboard without getting arrested, didn't get robbed (was living in the DC area at that point) and I told myself I'd be back. Moved to Florida to finish college then I was going to move there and I'm still here. Florida is better in a lot of ways, I love it here, but I still need to at least go spend some more time out there.

 

Lol ya I remember you telling me about your stay in those condos. They have the sweetest view.. the lagoon and the tracks plus the ocean its like… what more could you ask for? The Brigantine Restaurant is kinda close-by it also has the same badass views but from the southern vantage point.

I thoroughly enjoyed Florida when I went there. The facts that it rains and its near the ocean hit two desirable points for me. I love the moody rain and ocean combo…idk something about it. Plus the latin culture there is different than the ones I experienced in Texas and California.

Dude I don't miss DC area. I did like Sterling though. Were you from Reston or what part?

Did I? Damn and I barely smoke weed anymore. And sometimes the humidity sucks but I love the weather, north florida beach side is the best.

You went to Sterling? I lived there, Herndon, Reston, Fairfax, Falls Church, Arlington, some couches downtown. Lived all over the area.

I am happy most people on here don't catfish. It's much better to see what people actually look like to imagine them when I read their posts!

Otherwise I end up thinking everyone looks like their avatar for some reason.

 

I look more and more like Frodo Baggins with each passing day.

hahaha, me too. For a few peeps I think they are looking like their avatar and it makes perfectly sense to me that someone looks like Mickey . Often I'm disappointed if they show a real photo (not meant as an offence).

Haha, same! LaPrincepessa comes to mind - she is very pretty, but I always thought she looked like a anime character until I saw her photo, lol.
