Yeah, I read that story with the timeline of his show's demise. What a hoot. This is getting better all the time from my POV. :lurk5: I can't believe all these ppl think Charlie is actually on to something. The only thing he's "on to" is the end of his career. Watching someone go down in flames may be sad, but it can also be entertaining... I hope whomever is financing his schtick loses their pants! Charlie is clearly a loser, not "winning" anything. I have a feeling he's gonna wake up one day, look in the mirror and end it all... Go out with a bang... How much humiliation and denial will it take?

That and drugs... From the moment his breakdown started I knew, Charlie's gonna show us that it really is better to burn out than to fade away. He'll party his face off, likely dying of a massive heart attack, a drug overdose, a stroke, or something terrible. But either way, he'll rage, rage! against the dying of the light. He won't go gentle into that good night.
This, however, could turn into another cult following, where numbers of people show up just to "boo" vehemently. It could be big, people.

I'd go see him for the mere purpose that his anger is entertaining. I give him credit, though, for going on tour after he managed to destroy his reputation AND look like a complete and total "fit-for-a-straight-jacket" idiot in the process. Gotta admit, the guys got some balls with all his "winning" hahahahaha!
I found this latest event, not just with Sheen but all celeb types curious. Its funny how people always seem to take what they say at face value. I mean you dont really know how much of this is an act, if not all. There's no such thing as bad publicity as the saying goes. Depsite whats happened, he does seem to be that little bit more famous now. The guy is loaded, has two live in girlfriends, the ex wife is still around, gets off his face constantly, parties with porn stars And apparently everybody is acting like he's gone off the rails. What if its all just a put on. I wouldnt be surprised if he ends it with the tv series then becomes a movie star. Depsite everyones bitching, the straight guys get rewarded if they act like this
You realize that even when you guys disagree and say how he's "not winning anything," the simple fact that you're talking about him at all is him winning. Bad publicity, good publicity, whatever, it's still publicity. He knows exactly what he's doing. That's why he's acting so absurdly. It's causing people to talk. He's a face. People want that no matter how fucked up he may actually be. He's still making bank regardless of everything else.
