Westminister dog show starts tonight....and I wonder if a small pomeranian type will win again....I used to watch this show, but not so much anymore....as I have dogs coming out of my ears!

kids sick, awesome. at least ibuprofen works for his fevers, and fast. got home from the dentist and he was running 103.1, now hes down to 101.8. poor kid.

he needs 3 fillings, one for a cavity, 2 to fill defects in his back molars (hereditary from hubby's side it looks like) so good job for the 8 year old. this is his first real dental visit, and im glad his teeth look ok. hubby needs a filling (in a a tooth that was filled crappily a long time ago) a wisdom tooth extraction (that should have been done, and he was charged for, more than 5 years ago) and some scaling.

i have about a page and a half of work that needs to be done, but has to wait. cavities filled, a probable extraction, a root canal, and scaling. a lot of scaling. i have my mom's enamel. ugh. so we need to pay some bills so we can afford the extra work. my dentist doesnt take our insurance (through medicaid) so i need to see if there is another dental option through them that will get us some coverage. fingers crossed on that front.

im ready for a nap.

 

Well, I'm sitting in the living room part of the house, WHERE THERE ARE STEADY LIGHTS. About 1 1/2 hrs ago, I heard a Big Something fall outside. Half of the house has (did have until I cut them all out} wavering lights, since about half of a tall tree fell and knocked down half-way one of the 2 or 3 electricity lines running to the house. I'm surprised there are good lights in this half.

Anyway, it can be said that the ice, sleet, and whatever has finally hit here. mercy, we are NOT cut out for this type weather here.

I'm so glad I have tomorrow and Wednesday off. IF things (the weather/roads, etc) are suitable, I'll be there Thursday. If not, I won't. simple.

I wanted to share this foolishness of mine here...when I saw the lights/electricity in the kitchen were going wonky but the ones in the living room, I IMMEDIATELY moved the toaster oven (and placed on plates) to here, the living room and started making firecrackers. lol I've eaten 2, made 2 and plan to make more...until the electricity goes here too, I guess.

We have to establish our priorities, right?

and WHILE I was trying to edit that one 1st of the triplicates out, this Anus/Asus computer decided to go else where...

I honestly want one day not only to get someone to come down here and show me the little "ins and outs" of this awful piece of this technology that does manage to connect me to the outside world but I want to know if everything is just easypeasy to them here.

I think the fact that I am here, in the oak grove in the Twilight Zone affects things..don't know if its the TZ or me...I think its me IN the TZ., so I need a control person to see how it all works with them.

But I'd bet money they'd lose something while here...that might not ever surface again.

Typing from anus here...a very old and dear friend (2nd cousin dude) has a daughter that's a doula! She is somewhere in the west. Wouldn't that be beyond wild if Leigh is the doula ML sees?

No heat, no water except for some 1/2 gals put aside...shoulda done better than this regarding having water...feel pretty stupid :-/ about that
