Thanks everybody for the well wishes and suggestions...I actually have a bay leaf tree, so I will definitely be trying that tea, ML. (That is the tree that I have to sometimes bring inside the snake-ridden basement when it gets cold-for-here.)

I have been trying to drink as much fluids as possible...

I don't feel worse, so that is good...and I didn't take as many doses of Mucinex today.

My attention span is only good for reading here lately...not good enough for a movie. I find myself wanting to read when a tv show is on for an hour...even shows I like.

 

Well I just watched John Wick and it was the best action movie ive seen in awhile..

Really sad when the bad guys kill his puppy and steal his car setting him off killing 76 bad guys in 1hour and 40 minutes lol.

Then he recuse a pitbull

Ain't it just great that we lose an hour tonight?

The bay tree is also good for protection for many things...I'm just so glad to hear that about the bay leaf's other healing properties. :2thumbsup: My tree is about 10 yrs old, at least...but it's a slow grower, thankfully, and it branches, rather than going up, but not a fast branching tree either...indigenous to the mediterranean area of the world, so I've acclimated it to handling the temps in the high 30's. Perhaps other trees are faster and fuller but we are quite happy with each other.

When it's gotten real-cold-for-here for what I've known would be prolonged periods is when I would break down and bring her in...she's outside right now...I haven't been willing to chance losing her/it because I was too lazy to bring it in...so far.

Glad to know there is a good and definite health use for her/it, ML. I'm embarrassed I didn't already know this, actually.

Aeri, your suggestion made me really smile and chuckle...vinegar - brown, plain apple-cider...not sure about the non-pasteurized kind... is my Mama's FAVORITE CURE ALL OF ALL TIMES!!!!

There are many people that are not repulsed by the smell of vinegar. Why its even used as an air freshener, I've read!

I'm not one of those people though...the smell makes me think of dirty things that need washing or something. My son grew up with Mama's smell of vinegar and use as a cure-all also, and we always roll our eyes together when she starts on about vinegar helping (everything) whatever the problem is. ha

She is 95 and kicking fiesty. So, I guess I need to take that into consideration, since I'd like to be doing the same one day.

 

bay leaf would make me puke...and that doesnt happen easy for me

i just cant stand that flavour...i also hate most italian seasonings/sauces

 

Im confident the bay leaf is the cause of my headaches when eating certain types of italian foods or pizza ..
bay leaf isnt in this cheepo ragu i use all the time. and I never get headache from that. or mozzrella cheese alone .. drink v8 all the time and no headaches from that. oh well.

First day I haven't had to start a fire in the furnace since...

You must be getting some bathing suit weather!

 

since I fixed the furnace its been running good. I changed the fan speed to a lower setting and its way warmer air . however -5F its still having trouble maintaining/ satisfying the thermostat. its working very well in moderate cold temps above 10F .. just can expect those types of furnaces to get the house very warm otherwise. Im still going to install the hearth heater in the living room. I cant do that kerosene unless its an emergency .. I dont mind them at all, but I cant be the only person that knows how to handle the fuel . Its annoying. of course I could have the other 2 do it.

satan set the kitchen stove on fire for the 10th time .. so Im going to buy an induction stove ..

I havent taken Cd pictures for some time. Its a lot of work smoothing out, time consuming .. gf wants to help smooth me out but I keep putting it off because of weather, Ive other outfits that dont need so much prep to get to erotic play time. this last fall.

Too bored to sleep.I have to creep around because my housemates all seem to go to bed at 10pm.I should sleep but I don't want to stop thinking,which is probably what I need.Synthacaine arrives Tuesday.Will be giving a couple of friends a taster,but I still get the free sachet of evoke because I spent over a certain amount.I'm recording a hot track at Core next Friday but I still got to play with the lyrics and vocal harmonies.Feel like dropping a couple of benzos but my tolerance is so high It would just be out of boredom.First time I did one about 4 years ago I was like"I love this stuff".It was at a gig and I was just floating.My manager hates me,and I can't stand him either.
