yeah...no water (and maybe some frozen) with no electricity. Although I remember this odd noise coming from all the dripping drains. I wondered wth when I heard it...little did I know it would be the sound of no water to come.

I just should have been more prepared, I know.

Hindsight is almost always 20/20.

and both of my work uniforms are filthy. I do Not do go work dirty, outer-wear or inner-wear. :-o

I'm even now talking myself into not being at work on time Thursday at 11:30am. lol

so the three stickers on the rig will say.

on the passenger back window it says 'I love my pitbull"
on my side on the back widow a sticker reads 'question authority'
on the back truck window that also rolls up and down has the anarchy symbol at the top.

saw a fellow pitbull lover from the sticker on their rig today..awesome..

I just don't got Obama or gov bull shit on my rear end..

Hey Everybody.

Hubby went for the MRI and EEG today at the hospital. We don't get results until Friday. They sent the MRI home on disc but my computer is so old it won't play it. I'm glad. What if I saw something I thought was bad? Hubby is going to try to pull it up on a lap top at my son's house tomorrow. I really wish he wouldn't.

As fate would have it, I have had a terrible headache today; complete with very tender spot on the right temple.

The kids didn't do bad in the waiting room for an hour and a half today but my head felt like it was going to split before we got out of there. I took a nap when we got home but the headache won't go away.

Tomorrow, I have to take hubby and kids to his pain doctor appointment. That's a small waiting room. Ugh...

I don't even know how I will be able to go into the Neurologist appointment with him on Friday with these kids. That doctor is stern and he will not think those kids need to be there.

 

there is no reason for kids not to see the truth about life, and health issues.

meeting with the doula went great, i like her a lot she has 3 kids of her own, and has adopted 3 little ones from foster care, shes been a doula for nearly 20 years. she is prominent in ICAN locally and specializes in VBAC, and seems very much to be an "i want what you want" person. and, super bonus, she loves the idea of bartering. im like "i can make stuff! i can make lots of stuff! im really good at making things." so that should alleviate the costs by a lot.

 

lynn your pump could be 12V .. maybe someday you can get a battery converter. talk to someone about converting to battery power on water pump..

 

ML, I just meant if the kids won't be still and quiet the doc won't want them in the room. The wait there is long usually. They might be all antsy by the time we get to talk to the doc.

 

ah. well, antsy kids are a whole 'nother ball game.

i was disappointed in my enchiladas today. i must be spoiled to the other place we normally go.

 

seen this guy i know on saturday...he races fords..mostly mustangs

he says he likes my hat

so i said "thanks.. im not even a drinker"


he looks weird and goes back to work

turns out i been wearing my ford hat for a few weeks ...i thought i was wearing my molson hat....

 

when I was at my parents' house on the weekend, I put on a load of laundry but the machine came back with an error - "No Water", despite there being water in the machine. turns out that the hot water pipe had frozen. got it working again with a space heater and by running hot water over the valve, but it is very unusual for a pipe to freeze there. it usually does not get that cold.

 

bah, I think I picked up some sort of virus or something... my sinuses are totally stuffed and my brain isn't working.

okay, I'll stop complaining now.

ML glad you found a Doula that fits with what you need and want. That is great news. That she is open to barter is even better!

Aeri I am hoping for good results for you and hubby. It does help to at least have some answers and direction when your health takes a dive. So fingers crossed that there is something to be done for it all.

Lynn hope your power is back up soon. We are on a well in the country and is a royal pain when there is no power.
