I'm glad I kept my crutches handy. I had them after meniscus surgery. I ended up needing them a year or so ago. Something weird happened to my legs for a couple of weeks and they were very painful when I got up in the mornings. I had to crutch walk to the bathroom and to make coffee.

my gpa has a lot of awesome wood canes. But he kept losing them as the Alzheimer's came in... but also we think gma threw them away... she was not with it at all at the time..

looking at the stars at night is always cool..

but seeming them in the early morning is more special... see some stars before you work.. could use a wish right

Winter before last was actually worse from the standpoint of long below freezing temps and amount of snow and ice, but last winter was harder on the body...

There hasn't been a "normal" winter for the last 20 years anywhere that I have lived. Shyt's fucked up now and I doubt it's ever coming back to any kind of normal. "Normal" meaning what it was for the first 35 years of my life and what I heard it was like before I was born. It used to be you could expect certain stages to a season and those are not happening anymore. It's not just the east, it's everywhere.

I would say here winters have been worse unless in the mountain range, they still get a lot of snow/rain.

Seems to be getting worse when no around mountains.

I been on the west my whole life in US.

Always wanted to own a snowmobile and take it on a thawing lake and write a message in the ice with a arrow to someone who lives on the lake.

It would be a huge wtf for neighbors.. problem is getting sled off lake not leaving trail.

So park a 450 dirtbike in the woods.

this is turning into a fucked up situation.

    lol

When I was a kid there was always a January thaw, every year. Now... I haven't seen a two week span in Jan. where everything melted like it used to.

Yeah, I had the sleet last night right at sundown.

My coworker is sleeping and I am playing on my phone.
It really sucks that they are losing 1/3 of their supply and have to cut a shift because this is a great job when things are running normal.
