yea humans don't raise tigers and fucking lions at home like cats..

could you imagine people owning tigers legally. It would be awesome. Cause all the fucking idiots would get killed by it. haha

It always baffles me as to why anyone lives in Winnipeg. I can see maybe 100 years ago someone born there that does not know it is a bit warmer closer to the border but in modern times you can just hop in your car if you can get it to start and drive a wee bit south. Run on sentence ftw

Good morning stoner peeps (and others) :D

I'm up super early since I was in bed asleep by about 8:30 last night and slept until 6 this morning. lol I'm off today and tomorrow.

I'm thinking about yesterday on my way to work, and how I'm afraid (not really :p ) that working at McD's is making me even crazier than I normally am....and that's saying a lot. lol

I stopped in at the Spinx gas station/convenience store to get my usual...the tea I buy every single day I work. I was in line for like 5-6 minutes waiting, waiting. Then when I finally get to the cashier this jackass needs to YELL from the back middle of the store - HOW MUCH DID YOU SAY THIS (whatever) WAS?

I find myself YELLING back AT THE JACKASS - DID YOU KNOW THAT IT IS RUDE TO INTERRUPT SOMEONE WHILE THEY ARE BEING WAITING ON?!? [IMG]

The cashier just looked at me and grinned. I told her (and obviously everyone around me)..."when I'm at work, I can't say anything; but, I'm not at work and I can say whatever I want. One of my biggest pet peeves to have someone interrupt me and the person I'm waiting on for something they should have already asked, or they can just wait like everybody else" grrrrrr  But really it made everybody :D

So since weather seems to be a good and important topic :D ....it's been somewhat chilly here in the mornings but warms way up by the afternoons. I'll be working in the yard later today, finishing up with the 4th flat of pansies and raking the final leaves for the spring. gad but that's a lot of work for someone in their late middle age, like me. :p

and before anybody starts talking about what is middle age...

ALL my mother's people live to be in their 90's and a few of them to 101, except for Uncle Fred who died when he was "young" at 93. :) So, I say I'm at late middle age. lol

Our Oak trees don't drop their brown leaves until the new ones push them off. Then I sweep and rake them into the natural area. It pains me to see people burning leaves.

We were sitting having dinner and the phrase "you know what you have not made in a long time..........." gets tossed out there. It is always followed by the request to make that for dinner the next day.

When the kids were little, one day a week they could each pick any new recipe to try out and I would make it with them helping where they could. I think that is why they are so open to foods and still enjoy meal time so much as a family thing. They also both enjoy cooking so eventually when they move out they will not starve or only eat junk. It make me happy that they have both stated that they will do family meals nightly if they have spouses and kids at some point in time.

I guess tomorrow I am making meat loaf. :)

We had our first "summer" guests today to kick off the season... despite the snow showers. :d

There is no function planned it is just a group of young folk having a good time. I had to have my girl pick me up as I had a few too many Jäger shots with the people. >.>

Bar wenching is always more fun when you're allowed to drink. :D

i cut my hair today. no chin hairs, just the long ones. took off about 7 inches. probably needs to be neatened up, but whatever. so much lighter. raked some woodchips, made my hand hurt even though i was wearing gloves. only one blister, and then the red patches where it nearly blistered. ow.

i have so much stuff to do. it was 70's today, supposed to rain here shortly, snow tomorrow. colorado weather man. my lilacs are ready to explode, and they are going to get damaged. im a little bummed out. but the woodchips look good. there are paver moving jobs too, and gravel, and edging. need to reuse some, and devise others. just glad i can keep the windows open a bit.
