The food in the hospital is terrible so that no one wants to stay! Hope you are home soon and feeling better Mr Squirrel.

I lived in Montreal when the FLQ crisis was happening. Dad was military and he as on duty. He said at the time he never in his life expected to have to take up arms against a fellow Canadian. It was a really terrible period in our history. We had to hide all his uniforms as they were stealing them to use. Families were told not to discuss if there was a family member in the services.

Our school and home were within blocks of the hideout of the Chenier cell who are the ones who executed Laporte. Our school was on lock down everyday for weeks before they were found. Scary times.
