Yeah, I'll get some pics from the same spot. It is about a 5 minute walk or so from my apartment.

This rockstar is really strong stuff, I'm flying. Decided to take July off of smoking to try and get my anxiety under control.

 

the last time i was there a big thunderstorm rolled in (probably the worst ive ever seen) and i took shelter under the side of the train building...when i looked up the whole eaves were packed with giant spiders

on the way home there was actually waves of water crossing the highways...and we werent near any lakes it was just the crazy rain...and stick/branches flying sideways out of the bush

I only get the anxiety within the first half hour of a smoking session then I mellow out into a meh kinda mood where I'm like a duck and all the water is running off of me.
But it really depends on the events of the day or if I have anything to be anxious about.

Huge ass oil spill in the city I live in. The oil went into the sewer system and fire was popping up from manholes all over the city. The second oil spill in the same spot since I moved here three years ago (you'd think they learn).

 

I really honestly thought I'd at least make it to the assessment stage for the job I applied for last week considering the "no experience required" when I had all the experience required.
Err well, I scored half the day off at least. Nice lunch, see the missus, smoke early. Ahh yeah.

 

Maybe you were too qualified. I've heard people not getting jobs before because they were over qualified. Don't really understand that myself.

Didn't make the assessment to be smelt. I bet it's my Polish last name with three Z's in it.
Some asshole probably thought "fuck that, not typing that out".
One day I will make two resumes outlining the same stuff but with my real name and a persona and see what happens. It'd be a good experiment. My father is always telling me to change my surname and even my mother suggested it on the weekend but I can't, my surname is me no matter if you need to push a wheelbarrow full of the alphabet around to spell it, it's me, it's whatever Polish identity this family has left, I won't get rid of it, it's unique and it's me. And I didn't learn to spell the thing before kindergarten for nothing.

 

found a used ac compressor that will fit my small truck

might buy the whole truck for parts though instead of just the compressor...just waiting for a counter offer

over qualified people leave for better jobs...the ones they are qualified for and went to school for

they accept lesser jobs until a good one comes along....why wouldn't they after schooling etc

so that's why over qualified people don't get hired

I'm sure shit will come along just a hard time in Australia right now, or at least in our city. About 4000 public servants got the axe and so I'll be competing with every one of them. Same as my missus who was just terminated after being told to stop looking for jobs after liquidation, they were bought out and "you have a job with us" sacked her on a Friday a month later and we are only a few months into our mortgage. Yay. So she's struggling trying to find work too. Luckily we have loan protection that'll cover some of our house loan after 30 days of her not working. We think we should have about 3 weeks left before I have to crawl to my folks for help which they're all down for, I just would rather not use them but alas they helped out a lot getting me the house loan so in a way it's their investment too, they can't see us go down the gurgler.
The good thing right now is although I don't get picked for jobs,I have a job, so it doesn't hurt as much but I feel like emailing that bloke back and asking for feedback as to why. But then I also don't want to offend the guy in case his job agency puts up the next job I apply for.

 

those Russians are very handy...that truck will be fixed in a few days
