It hit -26C last night, just around the -25C right now...

Without snow, this cold is a killer... we usually have a couple of feet of snow banked up around the edge of the house by this time... saves a huge amount of heat.

 

ugh headache... drank most of a bottle of mount gay rum... coffee please.

 

15c below but they are still saying plus2 for all next week..the chinook winds are blowing right towards us..bring us some of the 9c that calgary will have xmas day

 

...me too...the roof not having snow on it means heating will be ''through the roof''

 

part of me hates that we don't have a measurable amount of snow right now... because i want to snowshoe.. and i bought the gf snowshoes for christmas... the other part of me goes "stay the fuck away" cuz trout season starts on the 1st...

 

We just ordered a couple of these;



I'd like the bigger ones, but these will at least let me seal the bottom of the house without snow...

of course, they wont be in til the middle of january and we'll likely have 10 feet of snow by then lol
