Dude these plants are so cool. Carnivores like the Venus fly trap

 

do they catch flies? what do they catch i wonder if i should get one does it keep away spidars?

 

Flies and other bugs, the liquid is sweet and draws them in but is also its digestive juices ;p
Some spiders will make it their home, all they got to do is dive for their food

it's a 'Pitcher' plant.
as mentioned upthread, bugs fly in and get stuck and 'digested' in there. It's a passive style carnivorous plant whereas a Venus Flytrap is active cos it moves the traps closed to catch the bugs.

 

I feel like such a loser, i never go out and do anything fun, even when i have the oprotunity to do so.. I got invited to a party by these two girls tonight after work, and rejected the offer like i do every time something comes up... for what? to come home and sit in my room to post on hipforums? lol

in my defence.. i do have to get up at 8 tomorrow, but still..

another big reason why i didn't go... my mom would end up questioning me for hours on end i'm sure.

I hate how they're like that, i rarely go out and do anything.. so when i do, why do they have to ruin it by being overly pertective and calling me and getting mad at me, etc... i'm 18, i'm graduated for fuck sakes, i'm aloud to go out..

They question me endlessy anytime i go anywhere other than my girlfriends house or out with her, at times i think they trust her more than me... especually my mom lol
