ROLLING, I am sooooo very sorry about your kitties! I understand about the working animals, but still. Maybe if you get more working cats, they could come inside at night in the winter? But I do realize coyotes eat in the day, too. Coyotes are quite the menace...we think they got 2 of my bro-in-law's cats in California.

I'm also so very sorry about the chicken massacre. Beyond a doubt, both women had to have seen and heard (especially heard - yuck!) the dog(s) killing the chickens. Stupid bitches running OR walking without their dogs on a leash...yeah...good thing it was chickens and not a child.

I really do hope you do whatever you have to do to make that sorry, irresponsible woman pay!

One of the things I sort of excelled in was writing papers or essays when I was in school...too bad McD's doesn't need any papers written. lol To this day, I sometimes wonder if that is why I majored in psychology (all that writing was easy for me), and not in botany or something practical I could actually use now. (I think what was in my mind was that I'd have to think harder and go do field work...I was too interested in getting high, writing whatever needed writing, and goofing around. )

fyi - I can promise you, they have NO idea I can write beyond the application I filled out and the stack of (ridiculous) papers I had to complete for orientation.

 

There are 2 people here at hf that know what I look like. I've emailed my pic to them...as they had/have earned my trust.

Sometimes I'm glad I've got this out-of-date dial-up connection...I've never posted a pic here I later regretted. lol

I just worked on some new Halle Berry sci-fi show where she plays an astronaut. It takes place in the future and there are rooobots. Fun stuff.

you know, one thing that bugs the shit out of me is servicemembers not wearing their uniforms correctly. you are on tv motherfucker! check the book! you are out of order! ugh. gig lines get me, i just want to reach through the tv and slap them.
i was only in 7 months, but i still got the pin for joining during wartime. seems so silly now.

solid white albacore tuna is more likely to have mercury/ higher levels, compared to 'chunk' tuna. the tuna that go into chunk light are smaller, younger, and dont have the time to accumulate the mercury in their flesh, while the big older tuna (where solid white albacore comes from) has eaten many feeder fish. the bigger/ older the fish, the more cumulative mercury/ other toxins it has.

and scallops- always make SURE you have scallops if you are paying scallop prices. sometimes they punch out pucks of rays instead of going through the hassle of getting the real scallops. last time i looked into it there was an overabundance of cow-nosed rays, which devastate scallop beds, and which are really hard to keep in check because of decreased shark/ predator populations.
