those things are soooooo much damn fun on a road that was just plowed down to a hard pack in winter...

out at the house i grew up in their were too driveway entrances on the road.. 40 yards apart....

we would start in the driveway back in the mowing grass and just throttle it, and as soon as we left the drive way we would turn the tires and give it the rest of the thrust it could give and have that fucker sideways as far as we could... always a test to see who could drift the longest to make into the 2nd driveway riding strait in... so much fucking fun when the road is covered in hard pack snow with snow walls on the side to prevent any collision... good times...that atv only lasted two years for other reasons...

though you wouldnt catch me ever trying that in the summer on dirt road.. gotta be iced over... fun fun

Wait Broony...Sam said to tell you hey! :D

Just came back inside from sitting on the bench (with a lil drink), looking at the beautiful moon and listening to the neighbors sounding like they are having a free-for-all!

Edit...there is NOTHING like loud drunken southern red-necks!

how many do you have Rolling? i feel like i will gladly settle for a special variance. i know they dont want EVERYBODY doing it, but shit. i have neighbors on either side who are on board, and a parking lot to the back (who can ask for a better neighbor?)

i will have my way eventually. muahahaha. i want RIRs and buff orpingtons. more excited about the RIRs.

WOW! That brought back a way long back childhood memory...my grandmother's people had a mint patch. My great-aunt would go get some to put in our tea before lunch when I was over...wonderful times and memories on that farm.

now...I got nothing re eating buttons...:p

Every single thing I planted or even grew from seed has grown so well this year...except for the ONE SINGLE type plant ;) I really wanted to sprout and thrive!

edit: out of 25 seeds, ALL but one either shriveled up or bent over and promptly gave up. :( The ONE that is holding on for dear life...I'm not holding my breath that its gonna take off (or even be female).

i decided that i will transplant all the roses up to the front yard, i will leave a 4 ft strip at the front near the sidewalk, and i will plant roses and mint there (mint i like, but it will spread EVERYWHERE, my mom has been trying to kill off some of hers for YEARS)
inside of that strip we will do big raised beds (to protect the stuff in them from rabbits) and i will plant my dwarf fruit trees inside of those, surrounded by berry bushes and other edibles.

its gonna be awesome if we ever get it done, lol.

Lynn- where do you get your seeds? i have had good luck (so far) with Baker Creek (rareseeds.com) and they were really quick to answer my question on facebook.
