was on my way home today, and the only road i know and take to get home, was blocked off... fuck lol

There was some huge drive by shooting and I believe somebody was killed, at first i thought it was an accident cause i saw this escalade swerved off the road..

I don't get why they have to block off the entire road though, like wtf? it's not like the suspects are just going to be chillin there afterwards, shooting off every person that drives by... bloody annoying, a 20min drive turned into a 40min drive.. When they catch these guys they owe me some gas money... lol

Odds are it was gang related, I don't give a fuck if 'gangsters' die lol they were specifically targeted... don't mess with that shit if you don't wanna get shot, simple as that

 

most 'gangsters' end up in that situation because of where they were born, who their parents are, what colour their skin is, etc.

some make the choice, i'm sure, but for a lot of people it is what they end up having to do to survive.

 

Around here it's more or less they make the choice... We don't have many 'ghettos' or 'hoods'... A lot of the kids in gangs here are white/brown middle class, that are just looking for an easy way out... so they start selling drugs and get sucked in that way...

I've known a few and none of them have come from bad broken homes or poverty, just lazy stupid fucks

It used to be pretty bad here, but it's mellowed down a lot because cops got insane over stoping gang violence, every few months we'd have cops come to our classes for presentations lol... I don't get it, let them kill each other off, the fewer of them left the better... There aren't many innocent people that get killed from it either, so let them be.. they will slowly get rid of themselves for us, without us having to waste tax money on cops to do it..

buying gang related weed is the worst... I've had to do that shit for years, never going back to doing that, its so sketchy... glad I finally have some good sources

 

you cant " let them kill each other off" because there is collateral damage, innocent bystanders get hurt all the time.

I didn't say it wasn't unheard of, just not very common... that was 8 years ago, but i get your point... If guns were obsolete and everyone just used knives, this wouldn't happen

 

I bet its a lot worse/more common down in the states, here we have more stabbings than shootings... shootings are kind of rare

the school i graduated from was ridiculous...

In grade 10, the fire alarm was pulled every single day for 2-3 months straight... and the fire trucks have to come regardless right, so it costs our school a ton of money and we went into debt or something, so they had to cut every program basically, and thats when everything just got bad.. it was like a group of 5-8 kids that got together and organized all this fire alarm pulling cause they thought it was funny..

kids are fucking stupid... they would pour gas all over our field and light it on fire, smash all of the windows, spray paint dicks all over the building, etc.. and that was a weekly occurrence... people even broke in and stole all the computer lab shit so they had to start chaining all of the computers down to the desks, they even chained the mouses and keyboards because people would take them

And then you'd be standing outside waiting for the bus, while kids run by crying because another kid maced them and beat them with a hockey stick or baseball bat or whatever, like wtf? what kind of kid brings mace to school...

We had like 3-4 serious lockdowns in that school alone, it was so fucked... I remember we had a lockdown when I was in gym because somebody called the school with a warning because a kid was in it with a gun wanting to commit suicide i believe, and the locker room doors automatically lock once closed because people would go into them to steal everyones stuff out of the lockers, so we literally had nowhere to hide... just sitting against the walls in the gym for liek 2 hours..

 

ortus, hate to break it to you, but i think that the reason you don't think that there are any 'hoods' where you live, is because the hood is your neighbourhood


but yeah, gun violence is a lot more rare up here. don't bother mentioning that to the gun nuts on here though.

there was a lot of gun violence in toronto last summer for some reason though, the eaton centre shooting, danzig street bbq shooting, shooting at the ice cream parlor in little italy in the middle of the day. pretty crazy.

 

that may be true lol... But i've moved around a lot, I've lost track of the amount of schools i've been to...

I've lived all over the Vancouver area, so it's kind of funny to see how all the different 'gangs' and stuff differ... When I lived right in Vancouver there were a ton of organized Asian gangs, then I lived in Surrey and it's more or less just random 'thugs' that jump you, and they all carry knives... And currently i'm living in Abbotsford, where i dunno... it's kind of a mixture, there are organized gangs and shootings, but also just a lot of random small groups of friends that call themselves gangs that you don't wanna pass alone at night..

I was walking home one night, maybe a year ago, and one of those little groups walked past me across the street... and they were yelling shit at me, i didn't even know what they were saying cause i had headphones in... but it didn;t look nice, so i fingered them, and ohgawd... they got so pissed, they start running and there;s like 4 of them and i'm like

i got away though i'm fast... and new all the short cuts through allies that led to my house at the time lol

 

Yeah, definitely in the hood. Here, you might get a kid who yells something as they drive by. That's it.

Is weed actually legal in Colorado and in the other states that have done the same? Like do they actually sell it in stores, and you can just go in and buy some? Or do you still need some sort of card?

Because I live right near the boarder, and its also legal in Washinton? That'd be so cool if i could like... just walk into a store and buy any kind of weed I want...
