Yeah. Now that I'm use to it. It's by far the easiest way to browse forums on your phone. Still buggy from time to time but it's made leaps and bounds.

(supposedly a rare endangered species of bats live in a dead tree on my property... and only there, from what a neighbor said. They were discovered here a few years ago... Weird, I could have the last of a species flying around in the greatroom... Nice... Kinda...




Do people have bats for pets? Nice mix, my crow, Erin. Spooky the black Ninja cat and now bats... Maybe I'm turning into the Crypt Keeper... Or Ozzy. (Oh Gods....)

 

It's illegal under federal law to kill bats. They're like little ****** eagles.

The bat is hiding now, I turned on some lights and it found a space to rest. He's somewhere in the rafters of the greatroom. (greatroom=livingroom on steroids)

I would never kill a bat on purpose... No worries there. They are rather brittle animals though, I worry more about the cat getting it or something. Erin is flying around right now, I doubt the bat will come out to play.

 

i hope menagirl was a troll, and not actually a person in pain. i have copy/ pasted what i have typed before, though i usually say that i have typed it up elsewhere.

in case shes a real person in pain: try volunteering. watch BrainScoop on youtube. start a youtube channel or a blog. find a ground level job in a place that is suitable. mop floors in the museum. life isnt fucking easy, and its far from fair, but perseverance and diligence and patience all pay off. most people work crap jobs for crap money, you have goals. if you are too busy feeling sorry for yourself you will miss the opportunities that present themselves.
also- formal schooling is fast approaching obscurity. if you really must have the expensive piece of paper that says you know stuff, then maybe its worth it.

Maybe... Been trying to think of some kind of net. At the moment it's roosting in the rafters. I found him but he's about 10 feet up... Long sticks and some kind of net. Gloves. I donno, never had to handle a bat before. Should be a trip...

 

We use to get them come in sometimes at the old homestead through the summer kitchen stove pipe. Used a butterfly net to catch them. Not me but my father did.

They are pretty tiny so the net would have to be tightly woven. Maybe a blanket?
