I probably wouldn't have a FIT or anything, but I bet you I'd come up with some way to call the head person, or whomever I told/showed what color I really did want, and let them know it wasn't anywhere close to right...If I told anyone besides the head honcho what color I had wanted, I would ALSO tell the head honcho of my distress. Yeah, I know I would let somebody in that company know something!

But seeing as I'm such a DAMN NICE PERSON (I'd tell them, probably without the damn...or maybe with, according to how the wind was blowing ) I wouldn't post everywhere I could find that the stain was not what I wanted.

 

Sometimes the same species of wood can take the stain differently, depending on age and such. But it shouldn't look too far off from what you chose. Maybe ask for someone to bring by a sample for you to compare?

If it is wrong, but you can live with it, maybe gently suggest a discount on some future services (especially since you say the quality of the work was good).

What a day so far!

We rescued one of the kittens who had been climbing on some stacked wood. I heard him crying yesterday so I know he was stuck at least that long. He was hanging by his head which was smashed between the stacks of boards. I cleaned him up and gave him some water. I took him out to the other two mother cats and one of them let him nurse. I don't know how much damage he has. He can't walk straight. He may have lost sight in one of his eyes. His ear may be damaged too. I don't know if he is brain damaged now.

Then, I see the idiot drunk junkie, that we spent all last week rescuing my handicapped niece from, on facebook posting pics of shallow scratches he's made on his forearm with a razor blade. He's posting "farewell friends I'm dying" and crap. I sent him a private message and told him to cut vertically and much deeper.

So that's the dichotomy this morning. One tiny helpless kitten trying to live and this fucktard not having the nuts to off himself.

 

No matter what you think of this person, if he kills himself after reading your comments, you're going to have to live with that for the rest of your life.

I am excited!! My son got accepted into BioChem which is what he wanted to study. He is now on his way to the next 20 years of learning.

Now to get my daughter confirmed in Paramedics as she wants to do that when she finishes her Criminology degree. Hopefully in the next two months she will get confirmation.

 

Congrats to your son! If you don't mind mentioning it on here, where is he going to be studying? My wife did her undergrad in biochemistry at Guelph and loved it there
