Anyways.... Besides the glue deal. I bought several of these, if that is one of those LED garden lights, I got a couple of butterflies, 2 dragonflies and a hummingbird. Many of them were broken in the store... (not the ones I got though, you had to go through them all to find the good ones... fragile stuff. Mine change color but they all change at different times so as a group they are pretty dramatic. It was still cold out when I got them, pre-season sale, so I had them in the sunroom for awhile and Erin would watch them as she fell asleep. Now I call them "Erin's little friends" when I'm putting her up for the night. They party all night long... Usually still lit when I get up in the morning. They just started... :sunny:

I would like to build a little reflecting pool in the backyard and have these scattered around the sides in among the plants... Trippy :2thumbsup:

Gluing that wing back on may or may not effect how that portion of the wing lights up, I don't know... If it's clear glue and it doesn't fog the plastic it should be good as new.

Yes twinkle lights are the best !!!
I love them too I have butterflies n sunflowers ...moons n stars ...
N there are tea lights that change color too..
I did have a solar one that would hide in a plant and look like fairies were sitting on the leaves....there were stems you twisted and turned to the plant to hide them
All night long the fairies would twinkle ....eventually the weather wore the solar box cuz it stopped working after a few good rains ....

What did I see on pinterest or somewhere about rejuvenating solar lights? You should google it.

It had a pic like using sandpaper or something.

What other bugs look similar to these Mayflies? There was a bug I haven't seen before on the kitchen window this morning. Now it's back. It has 6 legs that may look like the grasshopper type legs (I'm seeing the bottom of it). It's body is segmented like a caterpillar, and it's greenish yellow. It has big long wings, that are a dark grayish color, folded on it's back. I don't see any antenna or long wispy things.

Pull the battery, standard NICAD AA or AAA, typically... Put it in a NICAD charger. (many chargers need two batteries being charged at once so do this with two units... Most could use a good "full charge" now and again anyways) Clean the contacts with super fine wet-or-dry sandpaper. Reassemble after the battery is charged and you're usually good to go. Some have an ON/OFF switch that could corrode also but that might take a little more "in depth" repair to get them working but usually just the battery contacts are the problem.

Damsel fly? It's like a Dragonfly but the wings fold back. They come in all colors.

just did the big shopping and of course I must clean out the cupboards/counter and fridge before I can fir it all away

tyrsonweed...I will play ''top that''.....I have pulled at least 50 feet of roots from my burdoch infestation....I thought it was the seeds were the medicinal part?/....dog chews the roots...you have to break the stringer root and the tap root to kill it...and it still comes back from a million side shoots

worst thing...it looks a lot like rhubarb and I have a rhubarb patch

50 feet but that's more than one plant... This was one 2 foot section straight down. The whole plant can be used... Some will cook the stuff up and eat it. Supposed to be good with Miso soup. To bad Miso soup is boiled salt water and seaweed... :BARF: Anything is going to improve that.
