the protests in montreal are getting pretty intense. 100th day straight of protests today.

Government doesn't give a fuck. The masses still see these protests as full of hipsters and socialists. Alas, the propaganda machine is still working

 

Yup, the protests are getting more intense and more ridiculous with each passing day.
It also seems like each side is doing less and less to try to understand the other with each passing day.

This new bill doesn't help anything either, especially with everyone and their dog having a different interpretation despite not even having read the amendments.

Lots of people think this new bill makes protesting in Montreal illegal, but all it really does is stipulate that you have to let police know where and when you are protesting 8 hours in advance of the protest, as well as not organizing a protest which promotes violence... and this is what students are saying is "completely against a democratic society".

Meanwhile these same student groups are going into schools and forcibly blocking other students from going to class when they have all the right in the world to do so.

Meh, I don't see any solution in the near future.
