What do you think the game is. Assets, stuff acquired, is the same as debt on a balance sheet. Possession is, regardless whether prized or demonic, it possesses equally.

Your debt plus interest is an asset to the lender.

Debt and asset are opposites to the 'consumer', does that really needs to be pointed out.

It genuinely could stand to be pointed out that it is a false distinction. All exchanges of energy are equal in fact. Both the idea of property and the idea of debt amount to agreements to have it so.

They may be equal in terms of energy exchange but since you agreed with the game once you've got yourself a creditcard they obviously are opposites for the individual who has to deal with debt and asset :p

I am, although I admit at first glance it doesn't seem so, concerned with practical things. The person who regards those two things as different, that is asset and liability, is at a disadvantage as how to use credit to advantage.

Bought 350 dollar headphones for 50 dollars down payment and i owe the kid 50 more bucks. Did i make a good investment? Will i see my money return if i try to sell them? Top quality, name brand.

What headphones? I spent 200$ on the Beats by Dre in-ear headphones a little over a year ago.... wish i kept the money instead :p they were decent though, they went through the wash 3 times, the first two times they still worked perfectly, but on the 3rd time they also went into the dryer, they're destroyed now...

It's ironic how just last night i was saying i was good with money, yet then today i just ended up spending 300$ in an hour on cloths, i'm worse than a girl... lol but in my defence, i had no summer cloths whatsoever... so i had to buy some, i miss the good ol days when my mom used to pay for my cloths for me :D
