My heart feels all warm and stuff. I'll think I need to go find the most aloof and aggravating BB and pet her now. :)

    Don't name the dog Trouble.

We have the 4th incarnation of Trouble the cat here. Hubby insists on naming this one. The cat always lives up to that name.

    Name the puppy Angel.

I once saw a dog named Cop Stopper had a tag that said it and everything when I worked in animal care. He had come from a drug raid so I guess we know what they had him around for.

not at the destruction level yet...still at the annoying them level. at the moment I only park my car so that the headlights shine in their livingroom window. a small price to pay for having my chickens taken away.

i met two friends today, one really gave me a shock.

The first was a praying mantis on top of the tarp that covers the wood. I was trying to be careful so I can keep adding to the wood pile. This dude didn't want to be moved, as i pulled the tarp off carefully he was throwing his arms like he wants to fight... got the tarp off and as i added to the wood pile he was just looking at me for a good half hour. He finally went on his way but still on tarp, so i pushed his butt to walk off tarp. Good Luck buddy, your at the end f your life cause your green is fading. : (

My next friend is a red lady bug.. other day I had one fly by my face and my reactions was WTF... AHH... but i learned it was lady bug not red bee lol..

So as I'm chopping wood one once again, one flew by my face, but i followed her close in flight to the post she landed on, i got right up close when she landed. I think she grabbed some kind of wood worm bug... cause when she landed her shell wings where still out and she had one of them tiny worms by her legs and as she closed her wings the worm thing disappeared under her belly and she just look around! So fucking cool! I've never seen a lady bug eat something. She was ruthless! The lady grabbed you, fly away, close wings and in you and in you go!

I have never actually seen a lady bug eat either. That is rather neat.

You are surrounded with critters wanting to help and watch you. :)

Lady Bugs make their homes in wood piles. If you want to attract Lady Bugs you can build a habitat for them.
